I had a broke down crv, not much money to work with. They took it on trade gave me a fair price for a broke down crv, got to pick a car I liked. Told them my budget and jim butner made it happen. Been driving the car for over a year. I think people don't take into account some of the cars are not brand new but expect them to be. When I've had issues with my check, I've called them explained my situation and they have been very accommodating. Communication is key. Overall I'm happy with my purchase

Where do I start? I've made three maybe four payments on my car, Transmissions going out already. They lied to you and tell you that they will work with you on your payments if you need them to, but they failed to tell you that they won't help you within the first 3 months. It's the holiday season I needed a little bit of help so I can get Christmas and they won't help you so they lied to me about that. And I'm paying $18,000 for a $10,000 car. The only reason I went to them is because they're the only place that would help me because of my credit and my low down payment. I regret it every other week when I have to make my payment. If I could get a loan somewhere else to get the car, I will drop my car back off to them. Would not recommend getting a car from them. Now they've got me trapped for the next 3 years. People try to warn me not to go to them, but I didn't listen, now I regret it.

We just moved here about 4 months ago. Back in PA we just bought our cars with cash instead of having to deal with payments. We have heard nothing but good things about Jim Butner so when my BMW broke down and a mechanic ripped us off here we went to Jim Butners. My husband just bought a brand new Kia so we didn’t really have cash to get another brand new car. Anything that could go wrong that day did until we walked in here. From the door we were treated with so much kindness and respect. We thought there would be a few things to stop us from getting a car such as an out of state license, but to them it was nothing at all. The process was to good to be true except it was TRUE. The easiest and fastest process ever. They are amazing people. Up front and very honest. Worked with us and knew the urgency of me getting a car like right now. I drove off their lot with my car within an hour or so of our arrival. Thanks to everyone that helped us!!

I couldn't ask for a better company to get a car from. Jim burners goes above and beyond to help you anyway they can and truly make you feel like family. If I struck it rich tomorrow I'd still buy through them they have helped me more than I can explain and I'm forever grateful. Thank you Jim burners!!!!

Do not go here it is not worth it if your even a day late they take your car even if u only owe 25 dollars they will take your car they expect you to have a 500 dollar deductible on insurance don't do it don't go here go some were ealse I had a car through these ppl ask around even cops in jeffersonville say don't go here place is bad news

My wife got a car from the well a van and she has been having problems with it.sence she got it she doesn't have air conditioner the two side doors won't work windows stopped to now. if it rains the car gets wet I had to tape it car also jumps when she gets up to fifty five and let's go of gas.so she calls to tell them that the car they sold her needs fix because they sold her a car that's broke and I'm pretty sure they know it to.so she hasn't even payed it off so they should fix it that's what I would think but they told her she would have to pay 2500 to get it fixed but I don't think she should because they sold her a car that was messed up from them because I know they knew. they was just praying on a nice girl. becareful everybody always ask questions get car fax

Bought a truck there over 10 years ago. Was hit by another car on 62 a month later. When it came time to get another car I was told I had to either buy another from them or pay for my original truck. They received the insurance payout They had exactly 5 cars on the lot. Bought a "new" car took a left out of the parking lot and the engine blew up before I got to Kroger. They wanted me to pay for the repairs at thier shop which took over 2 months to complete costing me a rental car the entire time. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE CROOKS. Every car they have comes from an auto auction.

The people here are friendly and helpful, but that's about it. After purchasing a vehicle here, I had to spend about $800 fixing random issues after a complete diagnostic at my local tires plus. Control arm, both tie rods, coolant reservoir had a major leak, needed an alignment, the radio is messed up and 2 buttons don't work, my phone won't connect to Bluetooth, the sync doesn't work properly, pieces are missing from the cosmetics on the inside, and the driver side window is going out. When I spend 22k on a car, I expect there to be ZERO problems. I've seen the car fax, and the car had obviously been services numerous times. So why so many problems right out the bat? I hadn't even had the car a few days before finding all these problems. My husband's car has issues as well from here. 15k car and the horn goes in and out, there's a leak of something underneath the passenger side glove box, brakes had to be done, plastic pieces underneath had to be replaced, etc etc. I will NEVER get another car from here again after I finish paying mine off and my husband's his, that's if the cars don't end up blowing up the engine randomly or more severe problems don't arise. Do not get a car from here unless you're prepared to overpay, fix a bunch of problems yourself, or get screwed over!! Nothing but a load of stress!!

I purchased a car here, was lied to from day 1, transmission went out, oil leaks, brakes out after 2 days they won’t even talk to me about anything i’ve called the better business on them

I have had nothing but a good experience when dealing with Jim Butner auto. I am currently paying on my fourth vehicle through them. Stewart is always a big help while there and gets us out in a timely manner. Highly recommend.
