2/22/2023: My friend and I went to a Jimmy John's for the first time ever. We were taking our time looking through the menu because we needed to familiarize ourselves with what Jimmy John's has on their menu. As a result, the cashier, a lady in the kitchen, and almost every other employee were coldly looking at us. It created a moody atmosphere that felt very uncomfortable to me. But I tolerated that, and we ordered our food. Eventually, the same lady in the kitchen called out our order, but we were a little confused when our giant sub came in two different subs because I'm typically used to seeing large subs come together like at Subway. In frustration, the lady put the two subs side-by-side and angrily told us that it was our order rudely with a mean face and an aggressive attitude. Even after we got our food, some employees and the lady still looked at us coldly as we ate our food, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere on top of everything. This is the first time I've ever experienced something like this at a restaurant. It felt very disrespectful and like I was treated with a lack of dignity at Jimmy John's. I've already submitted my feedback to Jimmy John's website, but I doubt that's effective. After this, I will never step foot into this Jimmy John's ever again, and I will most likely never go to a Jimmy John's restaurant ever again because I will be reminded of how I was treated at this Jimmy John's. Update 2/26/2023: Jimmy John's customer service have been very helpful in resolving this issue and I truly appreciate them. I highly suggest going to the location in Deer Park instead of this location. I went there for a second visit to give Jimmy John's a second chance, and they were super helpful and kind with me.
Worst experience at a jimmy johns to date. Walked in and they were making subs for ten minutes which is understandable. Then took our order, when I told the worker that our ticket was all together, there were 8 of us, he laughed and shook his head. While he was making our sandwiches, he continuously would look at the line of people coming in the door and shake his head. Need to get your staff’s attitude under control.
I’ve ordered delivery from this jimmy johns four times now. 2/4 times they forgot my drink and had to go back and get it making my order take well over an hour to complete. This really sucks because I work extremely long shifts and I get almost no time to eat so I order jimmy johns because of its alleged “freaky fast delivery”. Having worked at a jimmy johns for a long time myself, I’m shocked by how slow the orders are. It’s supposed to take no longer than 30 seconds to complete each sandwich and then they only deliver to areas that can be reached within 5 minutes. Once an order is placed, if the location is up to par with corporate standards, there is no way it should take more than 10 minutes to receive your food. I really love jimmy johns and it’s great to have a healthy option for delivery considering my 36 hour shifts at work, I just wish they could shape this one up to jimmy John standards and have more accurate and fast service!
Great staff. I came in today, seeing only 2 staff handle everything from taking, making and delivery orders for walk-in guest, online orders and phone order. You can tell they are understaff, and the staff are stress. the but the 2 staff was efficient and very professional. The 5 stars go to the 2 staff, 0 star for whoever left them by themselves.
I pretty much lived off of these sandwiches for a whole semester. Not bad, super quick service. I usually get my sandwich before I even finish paying! The Vito never disappoints and it's the only place on campus that has Dr.Pepper... That's a super plus in my book!!
I stopped in to get a veggie sub which I love so much from JJ and decided to try the chicken wrap. OMG so Lish!!Food: 5/5
I like Jimmy Johns, but this location has gotten worse in quality control. I ordered a club lulu and the guy said we'll have it out as soon as possible with a slight apologetic tone. I wondered why, so I looked around saw a lot of people which was weird for the time 8:30. Saw a friend and he said he'd been waiting for 10 minutes which was way beyond what s normal. Got my sandwich in 4 minutes, not bad at all. I just know jjs is fast which is why I went there. Got back to my place and realized the bread was burnt and crispy on the bottom! I wasn't going to go back because all the bread must be burnt and I didn't want to wait for a new batch. I suspect they ran out and rushed a new one by raising the temperature higher than normal, leading to my issue. Another reason why people were wait, the bread was baking. Sandwhich was slightly warm. Finally to top it off, they forgot 2 pieces of bacon. Oh my love for bacon has no bounds. The Sandwhich needs that bacon. Its a key component to the texture and flavor. It just wasn't the same.
The most Nasty, Sandwich I've ever tasted, didn't even finish it gave it to my dog and I'm not sure if he liked it.I will not be returning at all.Thanks but no thanks.Food: 1/5
my one time i attempt to order delivery from jimmy johns and they only have one person working, no deliveries available, and no mention, call, email or any notice until I called location to find out. now this company goes on the "list" to never give business to.
While service is great and the staff helpful, the sandwiches are just boring and lacking. The Veggie Club is by far the worst I've ever eaten. One would think they would put extra veggies to make up for the lack of meat, but that's not what they do. Very disappointed and won't be back.
