JMC Self Storage - Windham

I rented here about ten years ago under a different ownership. The experience from then, until now is like night an day! Very well organized, both keeping me informed, and billing. I also appreciate that every time there was an issue with the gate, it was taken care of immediately. The rates were also very competitive. I would highly recommend them if I was asked.

The JMC staff is super responsive and friendly, and the unit kept our stuff dry and safe. During our half-year stay, they did have an issue with the gate that seemed beyond their control to fix in a timely manner, but it did leave the gate open for a number of days, which caused us some concern. As we were moving out, the conditions at the facility were very icy, especially near the drain pipes, and nothing had been salted or sanded. The cars fishtailed repeatedly, and in one instance, I came very close to hitting a unit, and would have if I hadn't been inching along. In addition, my partner fell on one of the large ice patches (not carrying anything, just trying to walk carefully) and did some damage to his shoulder. I wish they'd been more diligent about safety, especially in the last days of the month when people might be moving out.
