This place has great bbq! Sorry I only got 2 pictures and none of the food because I was so hungry. I ordered a carry out but was still amazing food! Very generous portions so you may take home leftovers. Wheelchair accessible and you can dine outside which has a real nice country ambiance. They said they even have local performers for live music at times. Kid friendly also. I recommend the baby back ribs!
First time visiting Joey's BBQ. The server Caitlin was fantastic and friendly. Caitlin gets 5-Stars! The Baby Back Ribs were delicious, but unfortunately you only get 2/3 of a rack 8-bones, but the price is comparable to other establishments where you get a Full Slab generally 12 bones. You can't have a side order of the Mac & Cheese, need to purchase at least a pint. The Brisket my wife had was very tasty, but had a lot of fat. The BBQ Beans were not that tasty and the vegetable kabob was OK, but the veggies weren't cooked enough. However, the garlic bread was fantastic! So, overall I'd rate the food a solid 3 scale of 1-5, the service a 5 star and the overall experience and review comes in at a 4 star.
We had the tri tip plate and the tri tip salad the tri tip was very good great flavor and my baked potato was very good the only thing I had a problem with was the veggie skewer had large pieces of tomato and yam on there which I'm not a huge fan of I think they could have put a few more onion slices on there and not taken up so much room with the tomato my lady didn't like the Cole slaw very much either but the service was great and it was a great atmosphere would eat here again. AND the garlic bread is very good too.
The first time I got there, it was so busy, but the server was good. She tried to explain the menu for us, took care of all the tables needed, and very fast service. The food is so yummy, not too burned and not too salty.Food: 5/5
The ribs were very good along with the veg bob. Wish I order something besides steak. The steak was good but I can get steak anytime. I loved the spicy watermelon Wish I didn’t share with the group
Charming, rustic feel to this place. Outstanding service. The ribs were a bit dry though.
When you wanted to have the best grilled meats, this is the place to go. Grilled meats are juicy and tender, top it with great service and awesome staff. I highly recommend it. They also have a one man band at their outdoor dining area.
Okay first of all, let me just say that I am disappointed to have not taken any photos of the food: I came to this location since it was near my office and wanted some bbq ribs. At arrival the location seems to be at a pretty busy intersection, they have average size parking lot. I was surprised at their outside patio to lunch/dine and with this hot weather they have water mist coming down to keep cool and the area clean. Now the inside of the location is pretty neat and staff are very friendly. I went with the Bbq beef ribs with cole slaw and mash potatoes. I then order the Bbq chicken and beef rib combo with bbq beans and corn. Also tried their Bbq baby back rib and brisketFlavor was amazing, their beans were my favorite! They have a sweet but kinda tangy taste. It's a family owned business and has a great history to it. So if you're in town don't hesitate to stop and try their Bbq ribs and just to let you know they do have a bar : Go and enjoy their food and drinks, super family friendly!
Came here one evening for a late dinner and was a quite underwhelmed with the quality of BBQ. I got the 3-meat combo with sausage, ham, and beef ribs. All three tasted quite cold and the portion was rather meager for what you pay for. Eating the beef ribs felt like I was ripping off jerky from a bone because they were so overcooked last night. My side dish of beans tasted like it came from a can also cold and the garlic bread seemed like it was made in a hurry with hardly any melted butter. I hate to say it, but the star of the show on my plate was the baked yam with marshmallow. I truly believe this quality of food is NOT worth the ~$38 I paid for. The service is what it is. Half the workers don't look like they want to be there. Wasn't bad but also wasn't too terrible as others have made it out to be. Maybe I just came here at a bad time? All my friends were raving about this place but I've had much better options than this one and a lot that weren't as expensive. I'll have to come here again when the time is right, whenever that will be. But for now this place is a pass on my list.
l love the brisket sandwich and the bbq chili beans and chips. It's one of the best bbq places. Only thing it can get a little loud, if you have loud customers. There is alot of echo. They need some sort of sound absorbers. Outside is better. My friend tried the peach cobbler and he said it was really good.Food: 5/5
