The food was good. A little over priced. However being a truck driver I would not recommend this place. We parked our truck, what we thought, was out of the way of patrons of the restaurant, and went inside to have a decent meal instead of going to a truck stop. It ruins what could have been a good meal when you hear the owner discussing with other patrons how you’re going to call someone to have the truck removed. And how “there’s a truck stop a half mile down the road if they want to sleep.” Heaven forbid truck drivers would like to have a good meal just like anyone else. At that moment I felt extremely unwanted and told my husband I wanted to leave because I had lost my appetite.

An interesting and uniquely decorated place. Great service, the yeast bread was warm and delicious. I had the fried shrimp which was cooked perfectly. Next time I am going to try the Hillbilly chicken, fried chicken and honey.

John's is a cozy family restaurant filled with interesting artifacts, heavily religious. The food is excellent and the menu varied. I had delicious crab cakes and house made cocoanut cake. No alcohol is served but patrons can bring their own wine. I will return to sample their prime rib.

The atmosphere is cozy. The service is warm and welcoming. The food is amazing. It was the best all around meal that I have ever had. I would recommend it to anyone! If your hungry for a delicious steak, this is the place to go.

I've driven by this restaurant for years. I took my fiance on a date night and finally decided to try here. I will definitely be taking him back when I plan a date night for him. Great service and great food.
