Popped in to watch celtic v hibs while on holiday from the UK, was met by the legendary Brad , great afternoon spent in johnnies, Tony behind the bar was great value, 90% of the beers were cold , I'll probably return tomorrow, Bathrooms we're top drawer, food was excellent
It's a neighborhood bar with no food and sus bathrooms Established in the 20s, last cleaned in the 90s The plus? Treats regulars well. Cheap drinks. Low key. Huge selection of Irish whiskey
One of my favorite spots to grab a beer. No nonsense sports bar with great people and some of the best bartenders in KC.
Great times & fun atmosphere. Bartenders are fabulous.
Best Bar In Town. Period. Stop in and say hi. Friendly bartender and patrons. We had a blast.
Great atmosphere. Good patrons. Fun time.
Favorite spot. Great people, nice music, good drinks, all combines for a fantastic night.
Relic in the heart of KCK operating continuously since the 1930's. Johnnies's occupies a special space in KC's cultural fabric where it doesn't matter what decade it is, only that you be a chill human being who appreciates meeting their neighbors over a fine whiskey or a yard beer. If you're lucky it'll be classic movie night.
Good vibes, friendly and generous staff, even though u can tell these people have known each other for years an outsider like myself was welcomed right in and offered a glass of water and phone charger which was much needed. This is the way a neighborhood bar is supposed to feel good tunes as well
A perfect American Dive Bar. Brace yourself for the toilets though. Will return for sure.
