Joe and Vickie were amazing for our wedding. They have an amazing eye for composition and light and are able to direct bodies as needed. They snap posed and candid shots exquisitely, capturing the feel of our entire wedding party. Joe's intuition for weddings is unmatched. My husband and I left the wedding for a couple a minutes to step away from all the hustle and bustle, and he was able to sniff us out! It was honestly a blessing because he capture some amazing couple shots of us in the nighttime with a beautiful background. Joe and Vickie were extremely prompt and sent us some "sneak peek" photos within 24 hours! They were amazing and cannot wait for the photos and video! You cannot go wrong with Joie Elie and you will not be disappointed one bit!

As a Wedding Planner, I had the pleasure to meet and work with Joie Elie for a Wedding in Princeton last fall. They were really professional and did an amazing job. They know exactly how to capture the emotions and the lovely moments throughout the day. They were easy to work with and really discrete.

Vickie and Joe were a pleasure to work with for my wedding. They offer great packages from prints to albums and they pictures come out looking great. If you use them, I would be very specific about what you are looking for in photos and plan ahead with how you would like to pose. Plan your likes and dislikes ahead of time. The packages also range in price to accommodate a variety of budgets. I will definitely use them again if I need professional photos.

I searched through many, many, many photographers' photos for my October, 2012 wedding. Let me just say, searching on wedding photographers' websites can start to make every wedding look the same and leave a bride feeling that she is bound for a generic feel to her wedding - even though it should feel special and personable . I even met with a few photographers who were very stuck in their ways for what "works" and gave me the impression that they would feel intrusive on the day rather than just capturing it. When I came across the work of Joie Elie Photography, it immediately stood out to me! Every wedding felt unique... they were really capturing the essence of the couple. The first thing that set Joie Elie apart from other photographers were their engagement session photos. Then when I met with Joie Elie's lead photographer Joe and his wife Vickie, they put together the perfect package for me and they worked within my budget. I couldn't have been happier with our unbelievably gorgeous engagement photo shoot and our wedding day photos. Joe was like a ninja at our wedding - capturing every detail and creatively and artistically piecing together the memories that will last us our lifetime - but never getting in the way of the events. I couldn't believe the photos he captured while me and my husband along with our guests were never aware of him at all. We have so many beautiful portraits and he did them in record time so we could just ENJOY our wedding day - rather spending a lot of time posing for photos. I could not have been happier when I saw the photos and I have received so many compliments on them. Most importantly, Joie Elie created my lasting wedding memories more BEAUTIFUL than I could have ever imagined - timeless, elegant, personable photos that my husband and I just cherish!!

There is no need to second guess Joie Elie Photography! Best decision made besides saying "I Do." Although my review is a bit late, I did not want to go without letting everyone know how pleased I am to have chosen Joie Elie as my wedding photographer! Making decisions for a wedding can be extremely stressful, especially when you cannot redo them if they don't come out the way you expect them to the day of. I looked at a ton of photographers online and read even more reviews, but when I came across Joie Elie, I knew I needed to schedule a meeting. Since day one, Vickie was such a pleasure to work with! She calmed all my fears, showed me lots of options and samples of work and I knew that the level of work, her and her team were able to create, was the level I wanted for my wedding. She walked me through every step and kept in touch frequently along the way. The day of the wedding Joe Kuan and the rest of the team arrived early and started working immediately. So many of my guests complimented me on my photographers because they were so professional and unobtrusive. Seriously! I usually don't pay attention to photographers at weddings I've been too, unless they are annoying and in the way! (Not Joie Elie!) They were also pretty cool! I chose both photography and cinematography and don't regret it for a second. I love everything about my photos and video! They are absolutely perfect! I can't stop looking at them, even one year later! Honestly, I would recommend Joie Elie if you want to remember every aspect of your wedding! They don't miss a beat!
