I received a tremendous amount of help and advice as I started to get back into cycling in my 'senior' years. I was guided to find a bike that accommodated my knee and back issues and was given all the time I needed to ask a myriad of questions. I have returned for servicing and accessories that never fail to live up to expectations. The owner is the friendliest person you would ever want to meet and his enthusiasm and positive energy gets me back out on the bike trails to find my 'bliss'.

James and his staff are super knowledgeable. Always helpful and great turnaround. I always bring my bikes here for tune-ups prior to my races.

This bike shop is a joke and a rip off! Don't go there. They charged me $10 for a stainless still cable for a Shimano rear deraileur, where for the exact same product, Kim's bike shop (3mi down the road) asked for $3 !!! I have worked at a bike shop for over 6 years and although I know that charging for a cable does not have a standard retail price, the highest acceptable price is around $5 or $6 !!! I also asked for a cable housing small component that does not allow water and debris to get into the frame (due to internal cabling) and the owner said that this is a proprietary component and I would need to call the bike company I got the bike from in order to order it. I went to Kim's bike and not only they found the part but they did not charge me for it! Joyful Cycle and Fitness has completely lost me as a customer! Unless you are a recreational cyclist that doesn't care about cycling as much and wants to get ripped off ...

The owner has been holding onto my tools and bike for a few months now because I owe him some money, however he has refused to provide me any documentation regarding my debt. I've talked to him several times and have informed him that I am unable to come into the store. I asked him to email me a break down of what I owe so that I'd be able to set up a payment plan. Every time we discussed this he would always end the conversation with "come in and we'll talk about it". Even when the wheel was stolen off of my Domane from right on his sale floor, he still refused to provide any documentation. When I last spoke to him, he told me "it would take too much of my free time to write it up. Lets say you owe me about $1000. Pay me now." At this point it feels like my things are being held hostage. I'm done trying to be friendly. I will be letting the BBB take over from here. Good day.

My husband and I have been buying and servicing our bicycles here for the past 3 years. Joyful has an excellent selection of products at reasonable prices. James and Grace work with you to ensure you are completely satisfied and comfortable with your bike and accessories. They treat you like a valued friend, not a customer.
