Chelsea Bicycles

Went there to find pricing and info about a folding bike. The guy there told me he had only one available for 450. It was late afternoon and the store was empty. I asked him if he can show it to me. He then tells me with a straight face and anoyed “yea you can look at it”. This guy had no sense of customer service whatsoever. I just walked out of the store and went to another one near by (Union City bike Center). No wonder store is empty. With that attitude i wonder how they stay in business. The other store clerk showed me everything and treated me so right that i ended up buying a 650 folding bike. I wont recomend this place at all. Hopefully the owner would pick his employees better.

had to take my bike to another shop after getting what they called a "Tune UP" due to bad job..

This place is great if you'd like to temporarily "fix" your bike. I've taken both of my bikes here to get them fixed, first one was to fix a pedal that kept getting loose. When I took it here I really was expecting to have the problem completely fixed but sadly, like I said before, it was only a temporary fix... with in 3 days the pedal was already falling off. The secound bike I took in had loose spokes and again I took it to chelse as to get the problem fixed but, again, they only temporarily fixed the problem. The spokes are already loose again... it's sad that this bike shop doesn't really worry about their rep and don't really fix your bikes problem. Save yourself the money and go to a more professional bike shop.
