JP is amazing. He gave us the most realistic quote for upgrading our electric service from 100 amp to 200amp. He arrived on schedule and completed the project on schedule. He also installed our Tesla charger. Amazing work ethic, honest guy. Highly recommended.

Hired JP O'Brien to install a retrofit ceiling fan box and a new electrical outlet in the fireplace for a gas insert unit. Work was meticulous and high quality. Contractor showed up time and cleaned up. He explained everything he was doing very clearly and made safety a priority. Very pleased with the results and would certainly recommend JP O'Brien.

My husband and I just wrapped up a recessed and pendant lighting installation in our condo with Dave, and we can't say enough good things about our experience with him. We found Dave through Yelp, and he got right back to us about scheduling a walk through for an estimate. Joe and his team did a wonderful job in our house. They completed the work in the promised time frame, made sure to ask us about any important in the moment details, and kept us informed during the whole process. Absolutely the Best Experience I’ve had of working with an electrician in the Boston area. I was having a problem with my electrical breaker box and the previous electrician I hired to install all the breakers was not answering his phone after several messages so I tried call 3 other electricians in the area and no one picked up there phone or returned my call after leaving messages until I called Joseph at JP O’Brien Electric. He not only answered the call but he was very helpful and honest. He told me that he was extremely busy but could squeeze me into the schedule book for the following week which was understandable. He showed up right on time at 8:00 AM, took out and removed one of the breakers that were installed improperly and could’ve caused a fire and then he installed a new one and even though it was a small job he never once made me feel rushed and spent time going over some important questions I had. I can’t say enough good things about Joseph, just an all around genuine guy that cares about the customer. If you need an Electrical contractor Joseph at JP O’Brien Electric is the Guy! Highly recommend
