Love that it's all women staff! The ladies are great! The doctors are strict but they care about my health and make sure to stay on top of me when I miss my medication. They offer a lot of health resources. The office is always busy but the girls try their best to accommodate the patients. I love it there !
Do not recommend. This Dr office is dirty. The staff in the front are always on their phones talking loud and cursing. The Dr we saw didn't know what she was talking about and needed to go make a call and ask for help with the most simple of request. I don't think she graduated high school or ever went to college. The wait was long but the office was empty. Do not go here!! Do not bring your kids there. I'm reporting them to the health dept and my insurance company. SHUT THEM DOWN!
Whoever is placed to make phone calls really is a rude person. Without asking the proper questions she decided to catch an attitude. You are supposed to ask reason for visiting not tell people you should know better. Reported her and the location to the health insurance plans. Hopefully they talk to you and let you know you energy sticks miss. And I will not take anyone to a location to get help where there’s bad energy. That’s not good for the healing process Mrs. Attitude.!
Doctor Shah is the BEST! Same with the staff. They seriously care about my well being. Proficient at their jobs and empathetic. I would take a star off for trying to get through to the office but that's really Jefferson and not them. Posted on 10-30-23
Dr. Shah is great! The rest of the staff are cool as well except for the checkout lady. She seems all out of the place and lazy. She gave me a Doctors note with the wrong name. She wrote Kyla which is no where near Katelynn. How do you get a patients name wrong? That’s just being incompetent. You can tell she don’t wanna be there either, she needs to get it together.
All very nice, from receptionist to assistants to doctor. First visit, loved doctor George. Very thorough, listened well to my many different concerns, had great suggestions, made me feel comfortable venting even about mental/emotional struggles and provided resources. No wait time. Free parking. I believe they've answered the phone every time i've called during office hours. I guess the reviews about phone issues must've been before. Definitely recommend. And all female doctors maybe even all the assistants too? is a plus!
I called explained to the receptionist that I had a walking pneumonia and it's been 8 weeks and that I still was coughing up some junk, she instructed me take a COVID test and call back afterwards, I called back and it seemed to get the run around, the next receptionist had me speak to a 3rd receptionist that said, we are booked until January, go to the nearest urgent Care, this is supposed to be my primary Care office, who I'm trusting with my life... I just went to ABC urgent Care on Friday Nov 9, around 12noon, a walk in, they took care of me immediately, gotta test and was told positive for strep throat, got antibiotics and waiting to see what happens next, Juniata threw me under the bus, if I could give less than zero I would, a negative number, what if I died
Lost my records. I spent 2 1/2 hours in the office for a physical and trying to get my paperwork. They tried re-vaccinating me because they lost my paperwork. Impossible to reach over the phone. And the new old doctor is terrible, unfriendly, and quite rude. Definitely going to look for a new place.
I like Dr. Thaver, she's thorough and actually listens to you which I appreciate. The annoying thing with the office is when they schedule visits they don't tell you when your doctor is out and the nurse practitioner will be seeing you. She's nice, but I felt like she brushed me off and threw a bunch of referrals at me which wasn't really helpful. I would have preferred the option to just wait to schedule the appointment when Dr. Thaver was back from vacation so I didn't have to waste time with an appointment that only resulted in " you can make another appointment with the Dr. when she's back".
Miss you Dr.Gorty, new clinic new people new policy, all bad... need to see Doc for refills, really lets see pay CO-PAY AND INSURANCE for a refill of Asthma inhaler, I've must of missed when they found the cure. Just terrible. Refill hostage make sure to pay your ransom. And you wonder how insurance go up every year young Doc need the cash in a poor community Shamefullll.
