Really really bad service! Every time we make an appointment for my kids their Dr always says he has too reschedule. One time when my son got out of the hospital after having a 104° fever we made an appointment 3 days after the hospital and then didn't see his Dr for a month and a half. We finally got to see him today for other reasons and people were coming in after us, being seen first. After waiting 40 mins past the first appointment, I asked why we haven't been seen yet. I was told we then have 2 more people in front of us. My son has 2 bumps on his neck, and nothing has been done about it. It took about a month for a referral for my other son's ear, they barely were calling today. He needs ear surgery. His pediatrician just seems to shrug off any concerns we may have. This office deserves negative stars but in my opinion if they don't care about their patients then they shouldn't be in business.
OMG!!!! I searched top rated in my area n didn't think my Dr office was first on list. I went there wen I was like 12 I'm 28 now, but even though I had anxiety being there, well every where but home, the man Dr I saw was cool, the name in comments sound extremely familiar but dnt remember except I remember he had sumthing amazing about him that rarely I'd see. He tryed making me laugh at his jokes but anxiety n embarrassment, got the best of me and . idk bout staff cause I was to much into wondering why at any appointments my mom took me to, why she was always passed out in waiting room n before Dr come in. I also visited the dentist in same plaza as well.
Dr. Gear and his staff has been in our family many years just say her name and everybody automatically knows who she is even though Dr Gear as perhaps retired the staff of just for kids maintain his quality of Love And service
When Dr Phillip Gear was there, it was nice..now service has really declined as far as the Dr's... the front staff still good but the actual np n Dr's don't care n look into issues like dr Philip used to..
Dr Gear is great but can't make up for the rude obnoxious office staff. They are abrupt, rude and uncaring. We had an appointment and we came in on time with no one in the office. Then after 20 minutes other patients arrive and they took 5 ahead of us as we continued to wait for over an hour. And this is not the first time it has happened. We have gone to him for 13 years but have changed doctors this month. Office staff could care less about any patients or problems. Nurses long dirty hair was flopping in my daughters face. Unsanitary. I had to call 5 times to get a record that they said they would fax and did not. This was the last straw. Complaint has been voiced and no improvement.
It was my 19 yrs. Old girl doctor and before that was her cousins doctor from kids to teenager so know the doctor for many years aLways nice helpfull and careing , now i have 3 more girls going there and enjoying it
I take all 3 of my kids his for almost 4 years now when Dr Gear was there he was the best even and the staff I love all 3 ladies they are soooo sweet to me and my children and knows me I never miss an appt
Other than Dr. Gear himself, his staff is terrible. They never called to give me notice that my daughter’s insurance expired. Therefore, I showed up to my 4pm appointment for her check up at 3:55pm only to be told they needed updated insurance. So, I call her dad bother him at work and we end up confirming her insurance by 4:18pm. The manager and staff say “oh we needed it by 4:10pm so we could call and verify the insurance. You’ll need to reschedule.” Okay, so you mean to tell me that because I had no notice to get this updated insurance to you and my appointment was scheduled 4weeks in advance and I drove 45 min to get here and I’m due about any day on my 2nd baby, you’re turning me away bc I’m 8 min behind in getting you insurance information? They just lost business from 4 patients and 5th if you include my baby on the way.
been a lot of my childrens Dr and now my grandchildrens Dr absolutely amazing ,
Dr. Gear is an exceptional pediatrician. Not only is he medically knowledgable, he is caring and compassionate, too. He also is teaching others to become medical professionals. The staff are all exceptional, too. It is our grandchildren who now attend. I have taken children to Dr. Gear for 30+ years. The children have been a wide variety, not just my own children or grandchildren.
