Very odd place for sure... shelves are empty or understocked. Items they do have are overpriced. Cashier talks on the phone loudly in Punjabi all the time. An ominous store sign says No Refunds & No Exchanges!
Good selection of dry and wet foods. My Asian wife really liked this place compared to other Asian grocery stores. Has fish and meat and lots of sauces, noodles and spices. Prices really reasonable.
The store is somewhat small but it's packed with food and cooking utensils. Need a rice cooker that does everything? They have them here. We needed Miso paste but I found other things I needed. I also found some delicious snacks to enjoy for a long work week at the office. UPDATE: The store has been expanded. It's bigger now and features more items. Some from India. I found great prices on plain noodles that I hope to turn into my own Ramen mix. Good prices, people are friendly, and the entire store smells of delicious bread from the Mexican grocery/restaurant next door!
I’m from Korea and i’ve missed korean foods so much. There are so many korean stuffs here. I think the price of this store is soooo reasonable. And the owner was so nice! I love this store and i really want to visit next time!
I ADORE this place! It's a Korean focused Asian food market with a few other countries' items here and there. The produce is fresh, they have a great selection of frozen goods, and lots of snacks and drinks. The prices are also reasonable and the staff is always friendly. Definitely worth my trip to Little Rock from Conway and back.
Good enough to get your fix on asian goods if you're settling for less. The new ownership shows they obviously don't care about the quality and selection of their products. Better go to Sam's Oriental Store instead
Don’t waste your time. Shelves are empty, store is filthy and disorganized. They had two of the ten items I was looking for in stock. The person on staff was standing back by the refrigerated section, talking loudly on her cell phone the whole time. I stood by the register with my two items for about five minutes while the staff member continued to just stand around in the back of the store talking on her cell phone. I put the items back and left.
I loved this K Oriental before. The old couple was always nice and kind and always got what i need for a very reasonable price. But when i went 2 days ago, it was under new ownership. The Korean people are no longer in there. The store is different inside and a lot of korean stuffs no longer available. What’s worst was, when i checked my receipt at home, they CHARGED me for 3 items i did not even bought! Be careful on going in there and Please check your receipts! I guess I will just stick to Mr Chen and Sam’s Oriental now for Asian stuff.
This is my go to spot for Asian cuisine. It reminds me of markets in Denver. They're doing a remodel and it's beautiful inside. Everyone that helped me was kind and courteous. All around a great market. Highly recommend. 10/10 Oh! And they also have that good kimchi. The kind of kimchi that feels like home.
go support this amazing store! Great variety- there are tons of snacks, drinks, fresh foods, and frozen too. They make their kimchi themselves and it is sooooo good! They recently expanded the size of the building and are able to have an even better variety now. I have gone to lots of big korean and asian markets in other cities, and I have to say that I love having this small store around. definitely worth a check out- we even do a lot of our fresh veggies and meat shopping here if we get the chance.
