I just switched to Kaiser P. recently, I had my first appointment yesterday for my 5 year old and 4 month old. My 5 year old only needed a check up and the 4 month old needed his vaccines. At my kids old pediatrician we would always separate the vaccines never all at the same time and yesterday that I went in I asked the nurse if we could do the same and she responded it was up to me but this were the shots he needed at this time, we talked for a bit but her attitude was of someone inpatient that just wanted to get it done when at the other place it had never been an issue. I went ahead and okayed the 4 vaccines and went home. My 5 year old and the new baby had never had fevers due to the vaccines but I know its common, well after this vaccines my 4 month old got a fever and vomit once at night. Today he still had a fever and I called kaiser to ask what I could give him for the fever and the person I spoke to took down all my info. case # etc. And after all that she asked me what would be the best number to be reached at, I gave it to her same they have on file and then she asked if I authorized for them to leave me a message and of course I said yes. This was around 4:40pm, well it's 10:16pm and I still haven't gotten a call back or message, nothing at all. Why kind of doctor/nurse/pediatrician is this? What kind of services? I need reliable health services! That when I need you for advice you have someone on the phone. I will be switching them back to health care partners ASAP!
A lot of bad reviews due to bad customer services and delay. I am considering Kaiser due to zero premium at work but after reading these terrible services thought they have improved technology wise but they only care about bottom line and staff are rude with no people skills. I guess I rather pay more for now and stick with my doctor & PAs which we have been with them for years unless they discontinue with current Blue Cross network.
Dr. Ramirez family practice. Poor excuse for a physician. I had to wait 2 months for him to approve my blood pressure meds i had paid for online. I called his office daily for a status. I was told by a staff he has been to busy to check the listno joke. I asked when will he be available. I was then placed on hold and never got an answermeaning they didn't return. At this point I was desperate to get my meds. A friend suggested that I go to Downey Kaiser for emergency meds. I recieved meds within a few minutes. Dr. Ramirez practice at chino Kaiser located off central ave. Now i see why they're called practice doctor's.
I needed a TB test read. I called the appointment line, asking what time I needed to be at the facility. The male operator said to be there before noon. I got there at 11:34 am but I was told the lab closed at 11:30 and would not open again until 1:30 pm. A 2 hour break. Is this correct - A TWO HOUR BREAK? I'm a teacher. I get a 20 minute break. Is there no way to stagger the employees in the lab so it's not closed for 2 hours? This is ridiculous. First I received incorrect information, then I receive absurd information. A two hour break is really inappropriate. If you must give your employees a two hour break, then I would strongly suggest staggering breaks so the lab is open to patients who don't have two hour breaks in the middle of the day. Absurd.
