Dr. Lynch and Dr. Dezi Mani are both absolutely amazing. They listen, they ask questions, and they make great strides to give you the best treatment options. I highly recommend this staff for your pain Management needs.
Of all of the Dr. offices, we have visited in our lifetime, this office is the worst in communication and returning phone calls. My mom was referred to Dr. Lynch by her primary-care physician for osteo-arthritis The PA who we met with referred her to receive a knee injection. When we received the referral in the mail, it was for a new office visit at an entirely different Dr. office. I called Synovation - Chino, CA at least 10 times with no returned calls. When we finally did speak with someone, no one could answer any of our questions regarding my mom's referral. I ended up tearing up the referral and took my mom back to the sports doctor where she originally started at. What a waste of time!
One of the worst run offices I've ever encountered. Rude and clueless staff. Appointment times mean nothing. I found it hilarious how one of the patients asked about the wait time and the staff person said they were running on schedule however we were sitting in the waiting room over 30 minutes beyond our appointment time. The mask mandate still applies there because it's healthcare yet the front desk lady was using her mask as a chin guard the whole time. They don't read the paperwork and had to argue with them to get what we needed. They need new management and a complete overhaul.
Once you get past that dragon Stephanie at the front desk it's all good, as long as your only being treated by the PA. I had such a bad first experience and every time there after, she can't seem to find a way to be at the least congenial. If you're 5 minutes late she reschedules a month out, but expect to wait a minimum of 3 hours. Since I've been disabled for the past 9 years, I've had more than 30 doctors and specialists; this is thee worst person to have to deal with. The physician assistant is a wonderful person and very competent. I showed up 7 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment, I live almost 80 miles from the office and have seen all of the other idiots that would like to call themselves pain management doctors. I have Fibromyalgia and spinal issues that have me in head to toe pain on level 8 that never stops, the best it gets is a 5 and this woman was beyond rude and in-compassionate. She tells me with a snotty attitude that I am late for my appointment, that I was supposed to arrive 30 minutes early to complete paperwork. I explained to her that had she informed me of this, I would have been there at that time and that if she would give it to me now I would be more than happy to complete it quickly and efficiently. She told me that it would take me the full half hour to do so, looking around there were more than 20 patients to be seen before me and she was showing me a total of 7 pages; I was clear with her that I was in more pain than I was able to tolerate and that my primary doctor was not able to increase my pain medication until I had been seen by Pain Management. She not only literately laughed with her co-worker and said that she would need to reschedule me a month out, but then proceeded to tell me how I needed to do her job to procure my medical records. I then raised my left arm full of documents to show her that my efficient behaviors came with my manners and my images. So then to her disappointment she said never the less I had to come back, I said that I didn't understand, you are handing me not even 10 minutes of questions ma'am and you have a waiting room full of people. Then her other co-worker popped up out of who knows where and said, your insurance is lying to you about your doctor not being able to increase your pain medication. I said and you are who? She said I am the nurse in charge of medication here. I explained to her that I have become tolerant to almost every pain medication now and am taking Methadone, when she cut me off to say, we don't even prescribe medication. HOW DOES THAT WORK OUT? You are the nurse in charge of medication, this is pain management and somehow you don't prescribe medication???? I filed a heavy complaint against the front office staff and decided to continue my treatment there. My second appointment was so much better, perhaps my complaint didn't fall on deaf ears? Dr Marc Lynch is a wonderful and knowledgeable doctor after we had a lengthy chat on my care. NO MATTER WHAT, NO MATTER WHO YOU SEE; NEVER PUT YOURSELF IN THE COMPLETE HANDS OF ANOTHER PERSON. NO ONE WILL CARE AS MUCH ABOUT YOU AS YOU DO. RESEARCH YOUR OWN HEALTH ISSUES AND YOUR OWN HEALTH CARE. GOD BLESS YOU Dr Lynch did nothing to ease my pain, I have been seeking treatment for 9 years and all he did was everything that failed with all previous dr's. He's an arrogant prick to say the least. He quit me on my 6th visit because I had surgery done by another doctor who prescribed medication I am allergic to; I couldn't take the medication and still have the full bottle my husband filled while i was still under anesthesia.3 Anyone who says different on here is lying or they work for him. That waiting room is always over full and if you complain, they will quit you. He himself charged me $90 and two doctor appointments to fill out paperwork, it's stated on the wall $15 for the first page and $10 there after I had a page and half to be completed by him. He personally told me that I was paying for his time.
It is impossible to get a call back here. For one solid week I left messages for Angela to call me back. A total of six messages. I finally drove to the office but they would not let me talk to her. I asked the receptionist to write down a message for her to call me at her convenience. Then went home and called and left a message on her extension. That was Monday. As of today I have not heard from anyone on a call back. The receptionist said I should sign up for Portal. Yes , like I really believe that will solve the problem. I like Dr Lynch and his assistant A Cochran but the communication is ridiculous !
I tried to make an appointment today 2/17/2015 and the appointment desk is the worst I have ever seen. When I first called I was put on hold over and over while gathering my name, address, etc. Then without asking anything about my insurance she came back on and said she couldn't schedule an appointment until I had my primary physician fax an authorization form and hung up. I called my primary care physician and was told I don't need a referral with my PPO. So I called Dr. Lynch office back and explained this. This time I was told that they needed further information before making an appointment. My primary physician said they would be happy to talk to them if needed. I started to provide his contact phone # and she interrupted me to say "perhaps you didn't hear me but we aren't calling anyone" and went on to say "you aren't the only patient here". I never expected to be and told her I was just trying to be ONE of his clients. Then she rattled off a list of things I would need to fax over which on her second attempt included films. How in the world am I supposed to fax those and I was simply trying to get an appointment to see if I wanted to change doctors. Needless to say, the rude behavior by the front desk prompted me to call ANYONE but Dr. Marc Lynch. Horrible experience TRYING to become a patient.
Dr. Lynch has been my doctor for 10 years and he is one of the best. When I first went to him my Baclofen pump, that had been put in by another doctor wasn't placed in right, and Dr. Lynch fixed it. Since then he has always given me the best care. Him and his staff especially Jenna, have become more like family to me over the years. Like I said he is one of the best and I fully trust him.
I have been seen by Dr. Lynch and Karen. Both nice people, and qualified. I have had six appointments with them with three of them cancelled because the Dr. or Karen had forgotten to order the medicines or get the correct approvals from insurance . One time, they simply forgot to put me in the computer and insisted I made up the date sure that's what I live for, taking 2 hours out of my day to see a Dr.. Once this happens, I then have to set up another appointment $15 each time to meet with them, so they can say they met with me and then order the correct medicine. Additionally, I was told that Dr. Lynch does not do ANY follow up appointments with patients too busy - Thier words not mine, and Karen is limited as to what she can administer. Niether she nor Dr. Lynch do follow up calls over the phone again thier words, so the only way to speak with them is to set another appointment $15 - even if it's just to ask questions about your care. Usually the appointments mine are very basic are at least three-four weeks out. If you are a new patient yes they are still taking new patients even though the can't keep up with what they have you are probably looking at 6-8 weeks out that was my experience. Perhaps the WORST customer service I have ever experienced!! The staff is simply over worked! It's important to remember that we are paying them for thier service. Our time is worth something also. There are plenty of other doctors out there who are equally qualified. I will be looking for a new one as soon as I can. I have yet to see a non frustrated patient in the waiting room because of similar errors to mine. This is the first review I have ever written, so you can either use it or not. Maybe I'm just frustrated because I received a confirmation call this morning from his office for my appt. tomorrow, only to receive a call from his office this afternoon, to cancel yet again due to a clerical issue. Two weeks to get the next appointment, so we can say hi, and they can say they saw me so they can order the correct medicine, then another 2-3 weeks from there. 1 shot - 6 weeks to make happen!!!
I see alot of dissatisfied people in the comments below from years back, and I realize this office has a 2.9 overall rating, but I guess because I came from truly a 1 star Office with Inland Pain Management... a 3 star Office is an improvement to me. I experienced some of what people are saying below 2 years ago when I first started with this Office but I think they changed some things - because I don't wait 45 minutes anymore for my visit, and Robert as the front Staff Member is pretty sharp. I give him alot of Credit, because when Authorization Dept. drops the ball he does everything he can to leave messages internally or if I need meds refilled Robert and the Staff now at the Office seem to get it done. Also, Dr Brian Chen has been pretty decent/good so far in making orders for new Authorizations & ordering medications. So, I cautiously give them a 3 Stars. If I could completely get out of Pain; I'd say they are 4 or 5 stars... but we are working on it.
Very disappointed with this office. Made an appointment 4 months ago. They told me they were booking 8 weeks out. Two days before my appointment they reschedule and said the soonest I could get in was a month. So reluctantly I booked another appointment. Same thing happened again 2 days before appointment they call and leave a message cancelling the appointment. When I called my general practitioner to let them know what was happening they said they would get back to me to find out what was going on. Just received a call from GP and he said Dr Lynch office said I no showed on my last appointment. So they lied ...I have a voicemail with the cancellation. I rarely ever write reviews but It would bother me if someone else had to deal with this unprofessionalism. Now 4 months later I'm back to square one ...not cool
