Average quality Korean comfort food Came here on a weekday for dinner. We were starving, so we got the soft tofu and the meat combo. Compared to the photos that were uploaded a year ago, the number of side dishes has definitely decreased. During our visit, we only got the kimchi and the pickled radish which were both mediocre at best. They also put too much sugar on the grilled pork and the bulgogi to compensate for the low quality meats. The seafood soft tofu soup was the only redeeming quality that helped use finish our meal. This may be a good option for college students nearby who are on a tight schedule, but I would probably recommending going to other places in Allston that have better quality food at a similar price.
I can't believe I've never been to this place before today! It's a bit hidden so I just got to try it out, and I'm glad I did! The food is delicious and service is great. I had the Udon soup with veggie tempura and it was very delicious and actually filling, unlike some other ones I've tried. I also ordered tteokbokki and it was good -- the portion was really big and they served it in two plates. For the price, I think this is the most tteok for your buck around here will definitely be back.
Soft tofu soup and galbi were both really great! The dishes came out in hot pot, which kept the food nice and warm throughout the entire dining time. I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant to those who are looking to authentic Korean restaurant with different kinds of side dish. Kimchi had weaker taste than I expected.
Solid portions and tasty Korean food. My friend and I ordered the tteokboki for two and galbi and both were delicious. Overall would come again.
Tteokbokki was soft and flavorful, and the pork kalbi was tender and well seasoned. The meal didn't come with many sides like most Korean meals, but the kimchi and pickled onions we did get was good. The waitress who was working on 8/22 didn't get her name was very friendly and gave incredible service even though she was the only one working a busy shift!
Ordered takeout the night of 9/3/2021. The food itself was good, but the containers for the tofu soups could not support the weight of the rice bowls on top and caved in. Much of the soups were spilled in the bag. Use higher quality to-go containers next time please.
Delivery was well packed. Tofu soup is so good and has great portion. Spicy pork is a must try!
I really like to come here for their soups and I do usually get the combo because I think it's worth the price. I always get kimchi with beef soup and sweet spicy chicken. This place never disappoint me because the food always on point and customer service is really good too. I like come here during the winter time. It's get really busy during the weekend around dinner time so make sure come early if you don't want wait in line.
I ordered combo of bibimbop and bbq Eel. It was so good!! Also, I ordered black sauce noodles and it was so tasty! The person who served us was really nice! Definitely recommend this place!! Only thing is not enough Banchon. I was looking forward to side dishes but it was not good.Food: 5/5
Terrible. Bibimbap was all over cooked rice, no flavor no crispy bottom. Very few vegetables or meat. Barely any pickles or Kimchi. Not worth it
