Kalihi Branch YMCA

The Kalihi YMCA has made great changes since I was a child. I was driving by and decided to stop in and see it. if Ibwas still living in the area i would joint this YMCA, but I live so far away now it wouldn't make sence for me to joint. I do encourage people to joint because a staff member took the time to show me nearly every room that was available.

Parking is terrible, often full in the morning. I signed up because they had child watch. this particular location just has the tv on during child watch while the caregiver uses her laptop and doesn’t seem to interact with my child. everybody that works there was very polite and friendly. Its just that I can work out at home for free while my kids is glued to the TV there. Also, I always have a parking spot at home.

YMCA and spoke to a staff member named Shannon. She was very polite and informed me that services I had requested was no longer available. She then helped provide information for other services that may be available.

Not enough space for weight lifting , they need too have 2 room's for weight lifting.

Did not feel welcome while in a time of need! Dropped by to use drop in day visit service and was given the run around in addition to some unnecessary and unwarranted comments by an older male employee/manager. First time here and it was a terrible experience and total waste of my damn time!

Great service. Go here everyday after school. Me and the bois always play 8 ball pool basketball and other special activities like dodgeball

Awesome staff. All you need in a small gym. Limited parking.

closing should be later like 11 pm at least, there’s people who work and want to go gym after work
