Story

Taken Not Given gym is driven by hard work and taking control of the goals we set. I am relentless in the journey to better myself, clients, and spread the word of WeightlifTNG, strength and conditioning, and health and nutrition. Not only do we train hard, but we educate, push boundaries, pursue our passions, and most important enjoy life. Taken Not Given gym was built on hard work and dedication that was instilled in me from an early age. That hard work led me to achieve my goals such as playing on a D1 lacrosse team, continuing my athletic career as a weightlifter, and opening TNG gym. In life we are faced with challenges. We can not wait for someone to give us the answers, but we must take control of the situation and work hard to overcome. I fell in love with the sport of weightlifting and quickly realized that this is what I should have been doing since day one. I put a lot of hard work into this sport, and I am ready to put in more. That includes not only training myself, but my passion for training others. Taken Not Given was created from this hard work. The notion that you have to go out and earn what you want and not sit back and wait for someone to give it to you. Whatever you want in life attack it with hard work and take control of the situation. Taken Not Given is a lifestyle of hard work, in and out of the gym.
