Karaikudi Restaurant Edison NJ

Had high expectations. As an a for hard fan of chettinad cuisine Went for lunch buffet. Name changed to something else A big spread, but not sure if everything was fresh. How could it be, isn't frequented as much. For Tuesday lunch, there were just 2 people in 45 minutes including me. Good was better than average, but it seemed were cutting corners. May not go again

You will be disappointed if you are going with a good expectation. This is nowhere close to the chain of restaurants in Tamil Nadu with the same name. I went on the New year's day and it was supposed to be this Grand buffet which is costlier than the weekend buffet price. And I could hardly find non-vegetarian choices. Items were not re-filled properly. After completing the starters, I had to wait 10 minutes for round 2 since there were no plates. The aisle were you go and pick up the food items is really narrow and you have food kept on both the sides. This is a major headache if this place becomes little crowded. Couple of vegetarian dishes were good but nothing much. Overall a very bad experience

This place is apparently called Dharani now but I don’t see that coming up for the Edison location on the website. Worst meal we have ever had. Paid $32 for two people and we left in less than 15 minutes. Don’t eat here. Place is not clean and service is awful. Food was terrible and almost no vegetarian options. So disappointed.

This is taken over by Dharani resturant.Non veg varieties are more. Place is conjested.

Food is tasty but less varieties to choose from and place is small. May have to wait a bit before you get a seat
