Shezan Restaurant & Banquet Hall

I had an amazing experience at Shezan! I was looking for authentic Pakistani and Indian food when travelling away from home and I wasn't disappointed with what I got. The food was delicious and I'd highly recommend their goat (mutton) dishes! Shout out to the owners/management as well, they were so kind and welcoming. I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm in Edison.

So impressed with Shezan! Such delicious food! The staff is so friendly and helped picked out the best things on their menu (which is pretty much everything). If you’re looking for amazing food with a welcoming atmosphere then this is the place for you!!

Wow! What an unbelievable restaurant. As someone who has eaten at Indian restaurants all over the world, I believe divinity was involved in guiding me to Shezan. On Sunday, Shezan has a buffet in the banquet hall portion of the property. During the week, items can be purchased ala carte in the restaurant. I must say, there is more variety and greater quality at Shezan than any other Indian restaurant in New Jersey. Whether you are a vegetarian or meat eater the food is succulent and perfectly cooked. Every item I tried a dish (and I tried them all because they all looked amazing) it was out of this world. Perhaps it is because Shezan is always packed, but the buffet was the freshest I have ever been to. Despite food moving fast, the restaurant always seems to have another platter ready to go at the exact moment the other is finished. Also, unlike other Indian restaurants in the neighborhood that overwhelm you with spicy food, Shezan has some spicy food, but not in a way that overpowers any dish. And if you want spicier food you can always add some heat on your own. Edison is the center of the Indian food science, and Shezan is the best there is in Edison. Definitely check it out.

The service at Shezan is phenomenal. Even better is the delicious array of food. The Chicken Cheese Kebab, Tandoori Shrimp, Chicken Bihari and Lamb Katakat are just some of my favorites on the menu. I have been to many, if not most, of the restaurants on Oak Tree Road and many throughout NJ and Shezan is among the best! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, whether its dinner, their HUGE lunch buffet on weekends or even to host a party. Their banquet hall is beautiful.
