My son Liam has been training in Karate City at the 1841 Broadway Ste 205, New York, NY 10023 for almost four months, in that time he has grown in confidence and gained a wealth of experience and knowledge. He loves going to class each week and never likes to miss a class. He has the utmost respect for Master Igor Sensei and all the instructors. I also have been training at the Karate City and have gained confidence, also managed to lose weight with the help of combining the cardio training with Igor’s unique nutrition advice. I honestly couldn't ask for better instructors, as they always make you feel welcome and are always ready to help you. Just like one big family. I love this place.

As a young adult in NYC, it's amazing to see how the children in these Karate classes improve. I wish I had had the opportunity to train here when I was younger, growing up on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. Igor, Olga, and Vlad are all amazing instructors. The way they adapt their teaching style for each student is incredibly sophisticated and nurturing. For adults, it challenges your perception of yourself and how far you can go.

It's been amazing experience so far at Karate city. We've started classes 1.5years ago, and never thought we will ever come this far. Igor Dyachenko is an amazing Sensei. He cares about kids and supports every kid from his deep deep heart. My kid is struggling with adhd, Karate City not only offered structured class for us but also huge emotional support and beyond. Karate city is the best thing I've ever discovered in NYC, and Igor Sensei is the most amazing coaches I've ever asked for. Hope may more people could get benefit from Karate City.

We are thrilled to have discovered the team at Karate City. Not only is our daughter learning vital technique & discipline, she is having so much fun! Every Sensei on the team shows genuine consideration for each child and the students ENJOY learning from them. Karate City is the best place you can find in NYC. My son’s been attending here for group session as well as private session with Igor Dyachenko.  Including Igor, Karate City has amazing amazing team, Vlad and Zumrad Sensei.   My son’s been growing not only physically but far far beyond, helping you to expand your limit, challenge yourself, and shaping you become stronger human being.  Igor Sensei is such an incredible Sensei, he pays attention to every kid, know every one's needs, and  make great  effort to support everyone.  He always make himself available to families. Karate City is the best pick for my kid ever.

My niece’s ten year old son actually looks forward to seeing his sensei and convinced two of his schoolmates to ask their parents to enroll them as well.  I accompanied him the other day and was impressed with the staff’s professional demeanor and welcoming manner.  I had the opportunity to speak to parents there and they all are impressed with Karate City!  It is my pleasure, therefore, to recommend you visit too.  Karate per se teaches kids so many lessons that will stay with them throughout their life.

My two sons have been going to Karate City for over 3 years and absolutely love it. The place is run with so much respect. They value education over all meaning the kids don’t only receive world-class karate lessons but are taught about more important values as well- healthy leaving, respect to their peers, Instructors, family and everyone in between, The importance of hard-working and never giving up, logic and common sense.

Karate City in Midtown West is an awesome establishment. I’m originally from Kiev, Ukraine and have heard about Igor Dyachenko a lot of positive things. Now I’m his student, it’s pretty cool to learn directly from the man! They are moving to a brand new facility, I’m looking forward to training there!

Karate Upper West Side has been a real gem of a find for us. We wanted an activity for our kids that they would love while also engaging their minds. The instructors are really dedicated to helping students of all levels progress in the sport.

My 3 year old in NYC took Karate during the summer with Zumrad sansei. She is fantastic, knowledgeable and patient mentor. Igor's methodology is not only helping the kids to be more focused and patient, but also for the parents to understand the psychology of the children, so they can manage them better.
