I love cartel studio, the employees are really cool people. The employees are super chill and funny, which fits the vibe off the shop. I got my first tattoo here almost 3 years ago and now this is the 8th one I got done here. The location is also pretty convenient because I live in the neighborhood. Their prices are really decent, and the quality of work is great. Nough said..

Yall this place is beyond amazing! They're kind cool and professional. Very welcoming! I have gotten 6 tattoo here. One of them I had a few problems with and I went back to get it fix, fully expecting to pay but Mose totally clean it up for me, free of charge. He even added color.

Seth was my artist at Kartel Studio at 172 Utica , this guy was patient and very careful while tattooing me , detailed work and his crew were helpful giving helpful ideas . You can’t go wrong with these guys they’re good and professional in every way , really nice guys. You have to try this place if your experience was bad I’ll pay for your tattoo myself. They put passion in their work you will respect that I guarantee . Thanks for the tattoo Seth my wife loved it.

I went into Kartel to get an old tattoo touched up and embellished. I spoke with Moises, who listened. to the vision I had in mind and began working on an idea. After getting the ok from me, he got to work. Moises was wonderful. He took his time and offered me several breaks since the process was on the longer side for this tattoo. He was easy to chat with and the end result was more than I had hoped. Moises is a fantastic artist and it translates beautifully to inking skin. The overall experience in the shop itself was incredible. The studio is small and intimate, extremely well kept, well lit and toasty, which is nice in the middle of January. The staff is welcoming. I walked out knowing everyone's name. Even when an employee went to the store to get amenities for the rest of the crew, I was asked if I wanted anything. Kartel deserves every star I gave them. I'd recommend the parlor to anyone.

My tattoo of Jack skellington was amazing. Words can't express how perfect the tattoo looks. Granted, I got this done last Saturday and it still healing. According to my girlfriend who I brought with me we spent 3hours and some change in the chair getting it done. I only felt like maybe 30 mintues to an hour tops. What I loved the most about the shop was the fact it displayed various art from different artists. There is even an original painting that was airbushed by my tattooist. My tattooist Moises was comforting and even offered to put on music and movies on their TV. He is a complete gentleman and even offered my girlfriend a seat to sit on. My tattoo was not painful. I recommend this place highly.

Moses is the man. Came in to get a tattoo for my girlfriend, I wound up getting one as well, on the spot. The quality was excellent and the atmosphere is cozy. This will be my regular place now.

Quick, clean, and an overall enjoyable experience. I love my beautiful tattoo, and will 100% be back for another from Moises.
