Katrina Hess Makeup Studio

Katrina is incredible! I did a private makeup lesson with my mom and she took the time to explain the techniques for each of our faces and perfectly matched products to our skin tones. We came in not knowing much about makeup and walked away with new skills and a better understanding of how makeup works with our skin type. The experience is personalized and professional, and the studio is gorgeous with lots of natural light. She made us feel so special and we were able to buy the products we liked directly in store! I took a makeup lesson today and had an absolute blast learning from Katrina. She is very professional, punctual, and attentive. She answered all of my questions in regards to applying makeup to a problematic skin, taught how to create a performance-ready look as well as natural day-to-day look. I was glad that half of it I had to do myself under her supervision. Within two hours I learned so much about how approach my particular face and felt more confident about how I look in general. I believe that makeup is a very personal thing and YouTube university has never worked for me. I’m glad I found Katrina. There are a few handouts she shared with me and multiple notes from the session.

She made my skin look flawless even with a large blemish I had on my face! and she matched all the colors she used so well to my skin tone. Katrina Hess is the best make-up artist and brow stylist in Boston and surrounding area! She is a perfectionist, making sure my brows look perfect, and this is not an easy feat given my unruly large brows! She is also the only make-up artist that I trust for important events, and I know that I'll always look amazing once she's done working her magic. Her studio is great-- the natural light and views, the make-up and other items on display, and her fantastic music make it a fun experience every time I'm there.
