Story

Kavod Senior Life is a lively, inclusive and integral part of the Denver community. Our mission is to provide life-enriching experiences to older adults through a broad range of housing and support services that reflect the spiritual, social, and cultural values of Jewish tradition.

“Kavod” is the Hebrew word for “honor” or “respect.”

Kavod Senior Life is based on these and other Jewish values, and serves and honors seniors of all faiths.

Kavod has a history of providing affordable and subsidized Senior Living and Assisted Living apartment homes and services for adults 62 years of age and older and those with qualifying mobility impairment disabilities. Our residences and main office are in the beautiful Cherry Creek neighborhood, convenient to the Cherry Creek Mall, restaurants, theaters, shops, and walking paths. Public bus routes stop just outside our door. Kavod housing and services are available to all faiths and ethnicities.

Our residents and our community are of paramount importance. We blend senior housing solutions with community-driven enrichment programs and a wide range of partnerships, both Jewish and secular. Through this network of partnerships, Kavod works collectively to enable seniors to age well while remaining vibrant and connected to their communities.

We partner with agencies and organizations to help seniors age well while remaining vibrant and connected to their communities... and to live fuller, richer lives.

"Kavod Senior Life is an award-winning organization serving older adults in Denver with housing and comprehensive support services. Our apartments are located in Cherry Creek that include Senior and Assisted Living. Residents must be 62 years of age or older or have qualifying mobility impairments. Small pets welcome! On-campus services include a comprehensive Health & Wellness Center with a medical clinic and rehab services. a full activity calendar, free wifi, and more. Kavod is nonsectarian and inclusive of all faiths and backgrounds, while based on Jewish values and traditions. Assisted Living apartments are private units with consistent market-rate openings; many require only a one-year spenddown to Medicaid. Come check us out!"
