I love a good neighborhood mechanic and I am a really long way from mine. I am used to just being able to pop by before traveling and have a quick look over, top off fluids and overall safety check. I needed that assurance before leaving NOLA. Dropped by and they totally took care of me like I was home. They were diligent, friendly, fast, and fair priced. If/when I return and I need it again I will definitely be coming back!! Thank you for putting my mind at ease before traveling again.

When you search for a place to have your vehicle repaired, it is important to connect with people who are honest and knowledgeable. Sometimes it's not what you want to hear, but making decisions based on truth is essential. I trust Kehoe. They even know how to work on my 5 speed older vehicle. I keep going back. Tell them you saw my referral!

Zero stars. Avoid at all costs. This place talks a good game. They are responsive and nice while they are trying to get your business, but that's where it ends. It's clear to me now that they are not a competent mechanic and are purposefully overcharging customers. Don't be fooled by their friendliness, this place is a huge scam. They came as a recommendation from a friend so I didn't have my guard up. They recommended 4 repairs to my vehicle. When I got the vehicle back, it was leaking MUCH worse than when I took it in. None of the 4 repairs had been completed properly. I took it back to them and they pretended it was an accident. They ultimately completed 1 out of 4 repairs I paid them $1200 for. I had to go under the car and tighten bolts myself to stop the leaks. Sloppy, incompetent work at this place. One repair they charged me $300 for. When I got the car back I could easily see the repair. It was as simple as connecting a 6" rubber hose to two plugs and putting 2 hose clamps on. This should have been a $50 repair. They charged $300. Any mechanic would know they had purposefully overcharged on this estimate. When I checked my fluid levels, they had sent my car back to me with the transmission fluid 1.5 liters low. This is incompetence. This is dangerous, and they likely caused lasting damage to my vehicle. They never completed the alignment I paid for. There is no reason this place should continue to stay in business. Please take your business elsewhere.

I took my car in for multiple reasons. I broke down and they were super friendly about getting my car towed over even though they were really busy. The whole staff was excellent and communicated constantly with me about what was going on. Sean and the lovely lady at the front desk especially . They are so thorough about explaining things over the phone that I felt really comfortable making decisions about my car. Several days after I got my car back, there was something wrong with the repair. They offered to tow me back to them without hesitation, and were very honest and fair about the process of sorting out the issue and everything was fixed with in the day - a very busy Friday afternoon! They were flexible about finding a solution for me to pick it up after work as well. People are right - they are a little pricey- but I feel that you really get quality and professionalism at this shop. Go early because they fill up quickly - for a great reason. I am so happy with kehoe and I will definitely go back.

I’ve been bringing my two old trucks to Kehoe for a couple of years and can’t say enough good things about their service. Shaun and his team are thorough, efficient, and have never pushed repairs that didn’t need to be done. With friendly reception and attentive care, I will definitely be bringing my vehicles into Kehoe as long as I am in New Orleans.

I've gone here several times now, and usually they're quick with repair work. I just had a tire and hub assembly replaced and they ended up repairing it much faster than expected. I've gone here at least once, where I had some concerns with my car, turned out my car was fine and they didn't charge me anything for looking my car over. Everyone is always super friendly and explains everything to you thoroughly before doing any repair work.

Great mechanics at Kehoe! They came highly recommended by a few of my co-workers at Tulane and so I went there to inquire about getting my oil pan and gasket replaced. The last mechanic shop I went to, while also great with service, were pretty expensive with their labor costs and on top of that wanted to charge me over $600 for replacing the oil pan. I quickly sought other options with other mechanics. Most claimed the replacement would be anywhere from $400-$600. When I went to Kehoe, I asked if I could purchase the part myself and bring it to them to install. They went ahead and said they would see if they could repair the oil pan first the threads were stripped where the drain plug screws in before considering replacement. They also agreed to install my own purchased equipment if it came to that. As it turned out, I did need the pan replaced, so I purchased the part from AutoZone and Kehoe did the job for under $200. I was incredibly thankful that it ended up being so cheap this included the price of the oil change plus a free tire rotation. Like many mechanics they'll top your fluids after the oil change and inflate your tires, but they also cleaned out my corroded battery terminals without my mentioning it. The only reason I would give them 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that the shop is also so busy that it could take a little while to get your car back. I dropped it off first thing in the morning at 8 am when they opened, and didn't have it ready until the next day. This can also be seen as a good thing as they are so popular in the area that a lot of people rely on them. So yes, they're highly recommended, and I would go back to them for any car issues.

Great car garage with good team of mechanics. Hourly rate is about $100. Drop it off early in the morning to get an estimate and/or same day repair.

These guys are great! I called them up around noon to get a repair done. They didn't have all the parts necessary, and had to order one. To my surprise, I was told that the part would be in on the same day. Sure enough, the part arrived soon and I had my car repaired within just a few hours. With reasonable prices and *exceptionally* fast service, I'd definitely do business with them again!

We made the mistake of taking our car to a different mechanic. It was a disaster! We then brought it to Kehoe. Problem solved! They were thorough, professional, and communicative - everything the previous mechanic was not. Next time every time we'll go to them first!Service: Auto glass repair
