Boiiiiiii Im finally out this hoe 🤪 this school was garbage and y’all need to get mr lebsack back. But i don’t really care since I’m going to pco now. Y’all can do whatever Idc if this school gets worse than it already is. There was some fun memories tho and the fights are SO entertaining bro. As long as you stay out the drama it is the most interesting thing to ever watch.

The atmosphere of the school was somewhat harsh, but more annoyingly was the school’s inability to resolve problems and worst of all, could not perform a graduation ceremony properly. First off, I am aware of the school’s location, but this is not an excuse for poor staff behavior, among other problems that the school possess. (Sadly, I was not educated that the counselor’s office even existed in this school, which that in itself should raise a red flag, as young students are incapable of knowing anything unless you explicitly tell them.) The staff was mostly sarcastic and failed to attend to student’s needs for the entire three years I was present. One of my closest friends there, whom of which I am not going to disclose their name, had a legitimate ADHD and Anxiety diagnosis, and the school failed to recognize the studen’s fear of public presentation and inability to process information likewise to a neurotypical student. They were one day, supposed to recite a poem by memory that they had written, in front of a classroom of students, and they had attempted to explain to the teacher their mental illness. The teacher had ignored their pleas and once they began reciting the poem, they were visibly panicked and were shaking badly. They had mentioned to me how they hated that teacher from that day on, and had began to hate other staff for their falure to help them succeed. Secondly, resolving problems was focused on the ability of one person. No witnesses or teachers were pulled to weigh in their opinions, only the assistant principal plus the ones involved were pulled in. To make a long statement short, a student had an altercation with another student, and the school punished them equally, dispite one student being choked on the ground to where they were gasping for air and had to kick the student engaging off of them. Thirdly, and the most sad, was the graduation ceremony. Sure, the ceremony was unnecessary as it was a middle school, but they did it. And needless to say, the ceremony was absolute garbage at it’s job. We as students, were told to follow instructions, and we had followed them. It was normal procedure, and there were no problems there. But, when it came time for medals and plaques it all fell apart. When medals were being handed out, I had noticed that every single medal had the same exact design on it for the different acedemic goals reached. A book with wreaths surrounding it was the design. And not only that, the plaques were not made of normal metal and glass, it was made of plastic. When the time finnaly arrived to grab our graduation papers, (should we even call it that?) the signatures were printed on and visibly pixelated. Not only this, but my name, nor any of my friend’s, who had received medals, did not have their name on it. It is truly a sad, sad display of the school’s ability to appreciate their own students. Whether or not this poor quality of education was due to Oklahoma’s budget cuts, low teacher pay or even the terrible choice of buying iPads for every student in the school, this time here at Kennith Cooper Middle School was the worst experience of my life, to say the least. Do not make your children go here, especially if they have one or multiple mental illnesses, and/or they like to express themselves. The encouragement of violence and bigotry by one teacher specifially, has made me hate the school even more since I have “graduated” from this institution.
