Keshet Center for the Arts is home to Keshet Dance and Keshet Ideas and Innnovation Community (KIIC).

Story

Founded in 1996, Keshet is an Albuquerque-based non profit organization which exists to inspire and unite community by fostering unlimited possibilities through dance, mentorship and a creative space for the arts.
Uniting the arts, the artist and the audience, Keshet invites you to engage, experience and be inspired through bold explorations of movement and celebrations of community.

"Keshet is an arts-based non-profit servicing the greater Albuquerque area since 1996. Working to inspire and unite community by fostering unlimited possibilities through dance, mentorship and a creative space for the arts. Keshet Dance provides dance education to ages 2 years thru Adult - in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Creative Movement, Mixed Ability/Adaptive Dance for dancers with physical or developmental disability and Fine Wine Dance Moving FWD for dancers ages 55+. Keshet Dance provide pre-professional education for dancers ages 6 - 18 years. Stop by to learn about our Unlimited non-competitive youth scholarships or Work/Study adult volunteer trade programs."

Fantastic staff and great place for dance education!!
I have gotten the best pre-professional training experience here at Keshet! I love the kind, non-competitive, and supportive community that Keshet provides. My amazing teaching faculty have helped me strive to be the best dancer, and mentor that I can be every single day! I would highly recommend :
I love watching my daughter dance and perform there is so much talent there! Its such a wonderful place! Great staff, great instructors, great people!! This place has such an amazing community and I would recommend it in a heartbeat.
I have gotten the best pre-professional dance education I could ask for in New Mexico at Keshet. My teachers are kind and incredibly qualified, and upon completing the KP3 program’s training I would be ready to enter the professional dance world. The most amazing part about Keshet though, is that unlike most cutthroat, competitive dance studios, Keshet fosters a kind, warm and welcoming community that I consider my family. I have grown not only as a dancer but as a person and I don’t think I could say that about other local studios. Please check out Keshet. I couldn’t recommend it more.
