Keys Upholstery

We took our Morris chair to Keys. It needs to have the seat bed rebuilt and to be reupholstered. They quickly decided on the best option for the former. They admit up front that their upholstery fabric selection is limited and suggested we look at other places, which we are doing. I’ll update this later. Thus far, they are very friendly and knowledgeable. Family owned.

They are amazing, i had 8 dining chairs that were very old and need reupholstery. Plus they rebuilt the wood supports below the cushions. I will never use anyone else in Houston, plus their shop was extremely clean. Can't recommend Keys enoughPositiveQuality, Value

I took a set of eight cushions over to Keys that had been improperly stuffed by another upholsterer. The people at Keys were wonderful. They were patient and thoughtful in their approach to re-working the cushions and it was obvious from the start that I was dealing with people who knew what they were doing and would not do a job unless they knew that they would do it right. The cushions came out great. A very expensive upholstery job on two couches are now what they should have been in the first place. I will come back to Keys for all of my upholstery work. Great job guys !

I was completely floored by the behavior of Key's employee that visited us today. I asked the employee to move their cargo truck, because it was blocking the entrance and exit of our community driveways. We did not want anyone hurt trying to enter or exit. While I was asking him to park the vehicle in the drive where the contractors park, he cut me off and told me to get someone else for an estimate and abruptly left. In our previous involvement wit the company, the staff had always been extremely helpful and very professional. The horrible experience the individual I endured to today, I was informed was the owner of the company when I immediately called Key Upholstery office. I never would have expected the actual owner of the company to have such an ugly attitude and personality. He does not have people skills AT ALL. I will no longer refer this company to anyone and decided to cancel the work I was having done personally and I am suggesting the same to the company I work with.

Owners are very rude and unwelcoming, do not recommend. Worst experience.
