First time trying afghan food. We got chicken biryani, butter chicken, and lamb biryani. We liked it. It's pretty spacious. A quiet and nice environment! They have options for the spiciness level which is great and they also give a lot of food. We all had to get a to go box. Kobob is their specialty which I haven't tried this time. Need to go again!
One of the best places to go eat in the town. They have very good and tasty food. Liked the biryani and lamb chop the most. The environment is cozy. The kitchen is just next to dining place and you can smell the food from dining area which I think is the best thing. They have small parking lot. Service is good. They also sell the hand made carpets.
What an amazing gem! Arrived here after a very long drive from Chicago and was super excited to find this place. Everything was delicious! Samosas were the best along with the kebab trio. So much flavor and perfectly cooked, even after arriving closer to their closing time, much appreciated and keep up the delicious cooking!
One of the most consistent quality and value options in the area. Carry out orders are ready promptly. If I had to recommend one item on the menu it would be the BUTTER CHICKEN - but I also really like it when the ROHT cookie bread is available! Generous portions, reasonable prices, and so much more delicious and healthy than any drive-thru .
Authentic Middle Eastern food. Had the Chicken Tikka Marsala includes side of rice and a side of samosas. Not a date place. Service was a little slow but it was worth the wait. Go for the food not the decor! Oddity: they sell carpets by the check out counter. UPDATE: returned week of 12/1/2019. Ordered the Chicken Shawarma. Under all the pre-bagged salad was butter chicken on a pita. Not exactly authentic. Samosas were great. Service was very slow. Music from TV was too loud. Changing from 4 to 3 stars.
Food was great and service was friendly. I'd give it a 5 star but their hours can be a little rough. Stopped in one night to find a hand written sign saying they were closed and had a friend with a similar experience a couple weeks later. Maybe just call ahead to make sure they're open and get some delicious kabobs.
I came here with a group of 4. I had been reading information online for awhile and saw that the reviews were high and that everyone really liked it. I was excited about the traditional seating where you actually sit on the floor. Well, that traditional seating is no longer offered by the business do that was disappointing. I had the chai drink and really loved the butt of spice that was in it, my friend had the Turkish coffee. You have to really love coffee to have that, she only likes coffee so she didn't care for it much. I found my beef kabob to be dry and over done. I ordered chicken with Afghan rice. That was amazing. The rice was very flavorful and it included meatballs which were also a very nice complement to the dish. My friend does not like sweet and salty, so the rice wasn't for her. I would go back.
Great food. Service a little slow. Could hear 2 people in the back throughout restaurant, sounded like they were arguing. Great food though
Thankful that you were open this evening on Christmas. The food was awesome! We will definitely be back again and soon.
Food is great. Customer service is probably the worst of any restaurant in town. You never know when they are going to be open and if you order on doordash they just ignore the order. Used to be worth it but don't waste your time.
