This place is just not good. The flavors are not there. They also charge for additional sause. We ordered a 6 pounder and some set meals with fries. Compare those to the ones in LA are just no comparison and the LA ones I'm referring to are not very authentic Louisiana style. The prices are not cheap. We end up getting subways next door after. The yam fries are good though

Its an different seafood experience here.  The food will test your palates, however, you may not feel fully satied.    No utensils required or needed.  They give you a bib and plastic gloves.  We ordered, fried oysters and one lb of musselsshouse cajun style   Everything was delicuous, we really enjoyed how the hot  mussels were marinated in a plastic bag to absorb all the juices, however, its more of a delicacy , rather than to fill your belly.  All in all, a great experience, to try something different.

They should add a salad or something to the menu and provide drink refills.  The price was a bit high - the flavor of the kickin garlic sauce is SUPER GOOD with the fresh local prawns.   Soft shell crabs kind of small but still tasty.

So Kickin Frickin good!!!!!  Best dinner on the island.  Staff was awesome, Ty was super friendly and Joshua was helpful and engaging!  The calamari was delicious and boil lobster was off the hook.  They even kept it mild with their special spice and made a extremely hot sauce for my crazy husband.  We would come back to Oahu just for Kickin Kajun! Thanks to our Uber drive Fabian for the suggestion!!!

Great sauce and seafood was fresh. They can Crack the whole crab and lobster open for you at request.

Kickin Kajun is great. I love their signature flavor. So far I have only had the clams and snow crab, but I hope to try other things on the menu. I love taking home the extra sauce and putting it on spaghetti! If you had spaghetti as a side option there I would not hesitate to order it to eat at the restaurant this way as well. So great to eat there and not have to worry about clean up. The service was great, checked in regularly and kept my water full.

I absolutely LOVED this restaurant! The food was amazing and I really appreciated our server, Bryson. Our party had a lot of questions and he was super patient! The house spice was delicious, portion size was plenty and just the whole environment of the restaurant was great. If I’m ever back in Honolulu I will be going back, 100%! Great overall experience!

Very delicious food. Shrimp was amazing. Very fresh. The crawfish is okay. Taste frozen.  But the sauces are really amazing. Love how they also add a touch of rice to the dish. All the seafood, sauce, corn, and rice mixed together tasted amazing.

I really like the food here, it was introduced by a friend, and the taste is our preference

Super casual!!! Eat with your hands casual!  Fun atmosphere. The seafood combos with the house sauce is incredible! It Is delivered to the table freshly steamed with garlic butter sauce in a plastic bag.  Paper tablecloths, plastic bibs and  plastic gloves provided!
