I had a wonderful meal at the Lobster King in Honolulu, believe me! It's the king of seafood. I went all in, tried almost everything, and let me tell you, the food was fantastic. The crab, the oysters, every single thing was perfect. The service was great—very classy! If you're in Honolulu and looking for top-notch seafood, this is the place to go. Loved it
My first time eating here. Fantastic experience. Waitress was very nice and helpful, plus the four dishes we order came within 5 to 8 minutes after she took our order. We ordered -fresh oysters/ lobster with garlic butter sauce/fried rice/fried ungchoy with garlic. Total $85.41 plus tip came out to $107. Very happy with my experience. I recommend eating here.
We're visiting Honolulu for the first time and staying in Waikiki, which we got bored and annoyed with in the first couple days. I deliberately went looking for Peking duck and / or lobster, and found this place. And oh man, it did not disappoint!!! Possibly one of the best ducks I've ever had. You can order the lobster sauteed, stir fried or deep fried - we went deep fried and it was light and airy and tenderly cooked to perfection. I'm a bit of a Peking duck freak ...I just had a pretty disappointing one last month at a very expensive place in Vegas that claims to specialize in it and charges twice as much... but never in my wildest dreams did I think I could find a place that would do both these things together in one meal to blissful perfection. I'd put the lobster on par with Newport Seafood in LA. We ate some pretty elevated and expensive fusion food for several nights in Waikiki but this was the best meal we had in Hawaii, and knocked it out of the park on the lobster and duck. Really great service, too.
My sister felt right at home, the food was delicious and for a first timer this was a good choice. The staff was friendly and the food came out promptly. The abalone was awesome and I'm definitely a fan of the fried rice.Food: 5/5
Don't make my same mistake. Drove past this place for years. It's not that "Elite". It's reasonable. It's just a huge Chinese Restaurant with a BIG NAME. We had a big family party. OG staff will take care of you. Wheelchair accessibility:
Delicious chinese food. Fresh and authentic. Best deal for fresh live lobster with any purchase of an entree. You know it's good when you see Chinese people that are not from the island eating there.Food: 5/5
Great for family style portions! Everything we had was delicious. Mahalo!Food: 4/5
Want in and the staff seated us. No menu given when they sat us down, I had to ask for one. Then I ordered roast duck on cake noodle and a vegetable wrap in lettuce. They brought it out and waitress comes back and says oh I forgot u ordered duck, she brought chicken. Then she says oh it’s cheaper anyway than the duck. I wanted roast duck. So we eat and it’s alright. Taste like kfc fried chicken with watery sauce. We only eat a little and I’m done waiting for someone n no one helps us. Helping other people but not us. I go bathroom n it’s stink. Sitting here waiting n I see one small roach crawling on the wall above the entrance to the kitchen. Gross. I’m done eating. Finally come box our food after 15 minutes. Not eating here again.
We had a party of 10, and this was one of the few places that could currently accommodate. We were able to make reservations on a busy Thursday where many places weren't taking bookings. The food was good, bounteous, and well priced. We'd eat here again. We shared three dishes, while others in our party enjoyed different offerings. The spicy lobster was the highlight.
The seafood is great! And awesome! Maybe it is Sunday, so it's kinda full pack. The server is honest, left a tip for them and she run back and returned it to me. She said it's included already party of 9 But surely will come back to it. And I highly recommend it.
