Kiku Restaurant

As far as hibachi goes, this is our go to place. The interior is nice and upscale. It's always great fun. The food is good for what it is. My primary concern, which is a big deal to me but nay not be to others, is that drink service is horrible. On every single visit the drink service has been horrendous. You pay for refills. (If they ever offer to refill your drinks) You better not drink too fast, because you will most likely not get get a chance to request a refill. The people responsible for taking your order and filling your drinks are across the board disconnected and unfriendly. It's not so bad that it stops us from going to experience the environment. Its just too bad that I leave with negative feeling about the experience each time.

The first experience started horribly. We had a 5pm reservation made a month ago specifying an high chair. We got at 4.50 reservation ignored waited until 5.45 for the table. Personal at the desk not sympathetic or apologetic for the delay. Finally we got a table but no high chair available. Long wait at the table for someone to get an order or bring drinks. After a hour and 30 min after the original reservation time we are at the table still waiting and nothing to drink. The food may be ok but definitely this place doesn't handle well busy time. Overall we don't go out just to eat but also for the experience of nice time and unfortunately our first time was quite frustrating

My husband & I and teens have been coming to KiKi for about 25 years when it was first by route 4. I would say the food had been consistent and the sushi is awesome! Always fresh and delicious. We love eating the hibachi, cooked to perfection. Great for special occasions, especially being “Gonged” at a birthday dinner!

A great restaurant to enjoy a good meal where the hibachi grill is used to prepare the meal and also serves as the table. The meal with plentiful, we’ll prepared and seasoned. The only drawback, if it is really one, is that the waiters could be a bit more attentive to the needs of the customers.

Had reservation, was seated in 5 minutes, Food was ok. But cook was very rood. He was throwing food around the table when he was serving us. He just did not care, I think they need to update their staff.... will not come back..
