Son Cubano Restaurant

Worst experience ever! Called at 7pm nobody answering. Called back at 8pm for reservation, told 45 minutes. I waited until 9:30pm and the waitress said another 30 minutes. I ask to s/w manager and explained. He tried to call me a walk-in before checking to see that I did have a Rez. I'm finally sat but in the tightest little table in the center with barely enough room so that servers are constantly bumping the table and chairs to get everyone in the middle. The mgr. could see I was on a date & apologized for the long wait and the terrible small table in the center isle and offered to send over a drink which he never did which was just silly to say and not do in front of my date. Absolutely nothing seemed organized or appeared to be running smoothly on any level tonight. Ive been here a half dozen times In the last year easily and it has never been anywhere near the mess it was tonight. You could hear the tables to our sides complaining about what a hot mess it was also. Terrible management with no control over the establishment and bad service has destroyed what was a fun, lively & romantic ambiance.

The food was great, I had a pernil dish that was so moist and delicious. My wife had a seafood with rice dish that she loved as well. It is a bit pricey, but we'll worth it. Great 360 view of the city and great drinks. After dinner talk a walk by the water, pretty romantic.

I celebrated my 30th birthday for a dinner with 19 people last Saturday evening. We did the pre fixed menu as they Mandate for large parties. We had our own waiter in charge of our party who waited on us attentively. Food and service were excellent. They treated us like royalty and were extremely organized. I would definitely recommend. Great view and ambiance.

Beautiful place, delicious food and good music, but please DO NOT LEAVE ANY BELONGINGS IN YOUR CAR BECAUSE THEY'LL DISAPPEAR. a $350 Michael Kors watch was stolen from my son's car, valet parking runner saw my son putting his watch in the door side packet because the band broke. When he got his car back it was gone.Spoke to Rest manager,valet parking manager and they said there is a sign "We are not responsible for any articles left in the car" I took my family of 10 paid over $600 and this was my reward.

Amazing views, and the manager is great. Had been waiting after making reservations. complained to the manager, and not only did he get us seated right away, he got us the absolutely best champagne we have ever had. Will be going back
