Kim's Tailors & Dressmaking

Had a simple cotton dress altered. Taken in under arm to waist 2 inches. Workmanship excellent. I have given 4* as i think the £40 cost was expensive. Dearer than the dress! Asked how much to take up straight hem on pair of trousers quoted £25 suffice to say i took them 3 doors down & excellent job done for £12 & ready the next day!

Tried a few places, and this is by far the best! The repair was of high quality zip repair and it was a reasonable price. Very high level of service when comparing to competitors in the area. Will definitely be returning.

Having my jeans taken up, they used the same thread taken from the original hem. How is that even possible. Attention to detail was impeccable, price and service excellent.

Kim altered my leavers ball dress and a jumpsuit for a dinner which needed major alterations in such a short space of time. She asked me in for a number of fittings and I felt looked after and very welcome! Both fit perfectly now and I am very happy overall! Highly recommend

she seems very skilled and know what she is doing but my most recent experience has put me off , she is very rude even shouting to me never ever going there again and I won’t recommend her to any my friend . There is a nearest good tailor in Albert road more nicer people

One of the best tailors in town! I had my flared trousers altered here and the condition after was fantastic. Excellent service, Kim was very friendly and kind. Couldn’t recommend enough. Will be definitely going back there in the future.

Kim's sewing world is excellent. The care and precision of the work completed is out of this world! I had a tear in a very expensive Ralph Lauren jacket and Kim fixed it like it was brand new - can't rate highly enough! 10/10!

Cannot stress how happy I am with Kim's service! Had to get a dress altered for my graduation, she made sure she saw me in the dress to know exactly what to change, and ensured I was 100% happy with everything that needed to be done. She also asked that I come in for another fitting after she had done the first round of alterations, again to visually see how it looked on, and offered some further alterations to ensure it fits me perfectly. The dress was finished in just a week, super fast service, and you can tell the perfectionist detailing has been done well

I took a skirt in to be taken up but she wanted to charge me £75 to do it. It was a lot of material and not an easy job, but I ended up taking it to another place down the road who charged me £30 for the sane job. Tbh I think she just didn't want to do the job. I've had some great work done by her in the past, she seems very skilled and get things done quickly, but my most recent experience has put me off from going there again.
