Great board and card game selection to appeal to beginners, casual, and con-going players. Loved their beer, wine, and coffee selection. This is a great group, date, and family activity to check out.
Came here with a couple of friends just to see what the place was like and play a game or two. Ended up staying 3hr! Great selection of games, snacks, drinks, all in a setting that really does feel like playing board games in your buddies basement with your friends. We'll be back, for sure!
Tucked away just off of high street in the short north is a place to learn, play, and laugh! With countless games to choose from, the staff did a great job showing us the options and teaching us how to play new games. We had such a good time! Check this place out!!
There were a lot of positives about this place - it's very cool, with lots of fun wall art. The space is clean and nice and the employees are really nice and helpful and knowledgeable in games. And the game library is expansive with lots of family games and kid games, too. But I wish they had actual food. Or normal drinks to go with their most unusual drinks - there was nothing there that tasted "right" to my kids.
What an awesome place! We had so much fun here. The staff was very helpful in explaining the games and helping us choose new games. They have a wonderful craft beer selection, and the hot chocolate was delicious! A great place for families, friends, and dates.
We decided to try this place out last night and it was great! When you walk in you're greeted and sat at a table. They get you a drink and then you can pick out a game to play. There's a $5 library fee per person which I thought was pretty reasonable and the drinks are fairly priced too. They only serve beer, wine and mead so if you're looking for mixed drinks, you should look elsewhere. But they have maybe 6 or seven local beers on tap. The service was great! We showed up with 4 people so they sat us at a smaller table. When another 4 people showed up a server asked if we wanted a bigger table, got it ready for us and sat us down. If you're looking for a crazy night out on the town, pass this place up but if you want a great night playing board games with friends, this is a really solid choice!
Awesome place! Went there with some friends and the guy brought us some games to choose from depending on what we were in the mood for - I wish I remembered his name because he was great. They have great drinks there too. Tried their Cinnamon Toast Crunch Ale and Apple Pie Mead and both were fantastic. They have tons of board games and the man walked us through the first couple turns to make sure all was well. Definitely coming back.
I love this place. It has a beautiful interior that is very well maintained with a significant amount of seating for its size. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the games available and will even suggest options based on interests. The specialty drinks and beer are reasonably priced and delicious. There are also locally made, quality snacks available. There are hundreds of games to choose from making the $5 entry fee per person more than worth it as you can stay as little or as long as you want. I would definitely recommend anyone who enjoys spending time with friends to go here.
Great place to spend the day with family and friends. They have a large selection of games both common and uncommon. The staff is excellent at giving rules and tips to game play which saves a lot of frustration. Beer selection is small but good and coffee is good.
Great place to have a drink and play some games. Super helpful and friendly staff.
