Food was great and had an authentic taste. Lots of sushi options with pretty clear explanations of what's inside - a rarity. The chicken katsu was white meat and the beef was tender. The sauces were pretty typical. The salad was a little sweet, but good. Would definitely like to come back and try different options. The menu is extensive, though  I wish Japanese curry was an option. Prices were as expected -$12-$18 for a dinner plate.

Great restaurant with many options.  If you want to save money they have something for you. If you want to spend lots of money they have something for you.  The cooking presentation is awesome.

Best Place ever.    Ken makes every visit an awesome experience with fabulous creative plates tailored to your taste.   I encourage if you haven't been here you should make time to visit.

Went here yesterday for the first time in awhile and it has gone from our favorite sushi spot to the worst I've ever had. We've been having family birthday parties here for years and after yesterday we will never go back.we ordered teriyaki chicken and beef, fried rice, and california rolls with soups and salads. Everything except the soups and salads were terrible and bland. We couldn't even eat it. We had to go somewhere else to eat when we left. the service was fine but the food...never again. I wish I would have complained there so I didnt have to pay $40 for 2 soups and salads but my wife wouldn't let me. I know it was taken under new ownership a while back and that must be why things have changed so drastically. Such a shame. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Under new owner: Lunch service was good.
Food quality has gone down considerably . 
The sauces tasted like Costco's and we're just added to the over the meat.
Tempura was good , futomaki is also good.
