Kleinfeld Sample Studio

After having a few bad experiences in other bridal shops with pushy sales assistants I was over the moon to have found this lovely store. Laura was amazing and helped me find the perfect dress. She listened to what I wanted and took the time to make sure I got the right dress. I felt right at ease and they have a gorgeous selection of dresses at great prices!! Say yes to the dress at a great savings. Who knew that directly across the street from the famous Kleinfeld Bridal shop is their sample studio that provides almost the same experience without an appointment or the 695.00 appointment fee. The room itself is not large but has a nice seating area and there is a nice selection of gowns, in sample sizes of course. You're still treated to that wonderful Kleinfeld experience. The dressing rooms are huge and if you're lucky enough to find a gown you love, the money you'll save will be more than enough to pay for any needed alterations not provided in the sample studio and accessories. The gown we looked at was 500.00 with an original price of over 5,000.00.

I recently visited new york to find the wedding dress of my dreams. I had an appointment at Kleinfelds but decided to look across the street the day before. Much to my surprise the perfect dress was there. The dress does require some repair, however, this was not hard to accomplish at the time of alterations and Olivia who was wonderful! provided a list of tailors that they work with. There are clean changing rooms to try the dresses on and I found there was a variety of styles. With the opportunity to purchase a sample dress I was able to buy a high end haute couture dress in a price range I could afford. I cannot say enough great things!

I am not a bride. I am a fiance of one. That being said I have been driving my fiance around the city trying on gowns. That is the only capacity I am reviewing on. We showed up at 11. Sign on the door saying they're not there for an hour. Decided ok we'll come back later. It happens. Came back after visiting lovely bride and flora vere. 1 o clock. Sign on the door. We won't be back until 2pm. Tourists beware. They don't care about people's time. It is now 2pm. They're still not back.

The sample dresses are stained, missing buttons, unorganized, and have rips and tears. The staff doesn’t help you at all when you’re trying to try on a dress which is probably why they’re in that state. If you’re looking for a dress, don’t even bother with this place. It’ll leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Gowns are in terrible condition, the selection is quite limited and the consultant doesn’t really care about your existence.

Not worth it if the person working just sits behind the desk, messes around on the computer, and looks offended if you ask a question.

Can't say for sure because they weren't open when the website said they would be. Sign on the door said another time, so when we came back, no one was there to answer door or phone.

Make sure to make the apointment first!
