Working with Steven and Alex was a dream come true. I searched for so long trying to find a designer to create a specific dress 2 in 1 and I couldn’t imagine not having Steven help with the design. The pandemic pushing my wedding back a year was a blessing as I was able to work with Steven and Alex longer. The final dress is truly a masterpiece. The detail is impeccable and shows the amazing craftsmanship of Steven Birnbaum. I never wanted to leave a dress appointment. Steven and Alex made you feel like family and I couldn’t wait to wear my dress to make them proud. I loved every minute of this experience and would love to have it again!

I had an amazing experience with Steven and team, who created the most perfect unique, comfortable, fabulous sequin pant look for me to dance to the night away on my reception! From start to finish, the process was special and easy. As a personal stylist, I know I am very detailed-oriented, especially when it comes to fit and proportion, and collaborating with Steven and Alex to make every detail perfect was a true pleasure! From helping me adjust my design for a wedding in a different season, they were the embodiment of the bespoke experience. Steven picked up on my desired look immediately! His off-the-shoulder, full skirt with hidden pockets!! cocktail length design made me feel so elegant! The fabric he chose was scrumptious! I truly fell in love with my dress and everyone said it reminded them of Grace Kelly! Steven caught the essence superbly! Steven’s quiet, calm demeanor was so reassuring throughout the entire process. His creativity, expansive knowledge of fabric and design let me know I was in good hands. I can’t thank Steven enough for my beautiful dress and I cherish the dress I have in my closet with the Steven Birnbaum label!

If you are looking for a dress that isn't covered in beading & lace and too many bells and whistles this is the shop for you. The emphasis on each of his dresses is not only impeccable tailoring but also allowing the bride to shine rather than letting the dress do all the talking. I can't wait to wear my dress on my wedding day!
