The local KWIK TRIP here in Necedah WI has the 1lb package of Klement's Brats on sale for a month or so for $1.99 a 1lb package. I bought one the other day and cooked two up on the grill. They were the least flavored sausage of any kind I have ever tasted... I am 62 no seasoning or flavor at all. I took the remaining three out of the casings and made "breakfast" patties form them, adding sage, onion pwdr. pepper and a little salt. The flavor was fine but the quality of pork was poor. Chewy and lot of those little "bits" that don't chew up...you know what I mean. No more Klement's brats for me.
Summer sausage was nothing but a wet greasey sour tastings mess of goo! What I did eat made me sick to the point I almost pucked
I love the products they make I don't think I would by my sausage from any other brand than klements.
One great place to Shop. You will not be disappointed
