A great gym culture if you are looking for a more intimate and controlled setting. I would have to say that with small personal gyms, you would have to have a base line of knowledge about strength training. I can jump right into a workout and use the equipment without having to wait for machines. If I’m unsure how to use the equipment there, the owner and staff are able to assist. Other than that. Get in where you fit in. You get the best out of the gym when you hire the owner as a trainer , in my opinion, if you are new to the gym setting and have a physical fitness goal you want to accomplish. With that being said. I would recommend this place for all levels of fitness!
As I’m laying here thinking about joining a gym I remembered my experience this summer at knights gym . The owner guy with dreads was ill manner, arrogant and egotistical!! Upon arriving I seen the sign on the garage that said use the front door! I walked to the front door it wouldn’t open so I came back to the garage part and walked under. I can’t remember word for word what was said. He did say I have to pull on the door harder but they didn’t have a sign for that. Overall, he was arrogant! I left immediately.. I’ve never encountered this type of behavior in any business. It was disgusting! Went to the boxing gym across hall and he was so polite !
Best gym ever never liked gyms but this gym is different it’s a family everybody is positive will work with u owner cares about each client positive motivating community we are all one at this gym and we push each other to have a healthy lifestyle come sign up it’s life changing !!!!!!
Lacks a number of things a serious strength training gym should have. Members are not taught gym etiquette and are not corrected when they exhibit poor gym etiquette. If you are serious about strength training and are used to a gym with etiquette this is not the place to go. I'm not the Planet Fitness type and, I suppose, not the Knight Gym type either. Another flaw here is the owner. I told him I wanted to end my membership. He knew I had been there a very short time. He didn't even ask "why" I wanted to quit his gym. A gym owner, any business owner for that matter, who is interested in customer retention would ask why so they have an opportunity to improve if necessary and if possible. I can only guess he just doesn't care or, for whatever reason, he didn't like me which I don't believe I gave him a reason in only three visits during which I minded my own business.
The owner and most of the people within the facility are a great group of hard working individuals and I did enjoy working out there. I had a membership billing issue I needed resolved. One of the managers offered assistance over the phone. Instead of helping she berated me with condescending insults, was obnoxiously rude, completely unprofessional and the least bit helpful. That is no way to treat anyone yet alone your “clients”.
I love Knight's!! You can get personal training or just workout on your own. Staff is friendly knowledgeable and welcoming. Great gym for out of the box training... cardio and strength machines, as well as non-commercial bars hex bar slam balls, jump rope, battle ropes, laugh, grunt... do what you gotta do... just put in the work! After your done grab a healthy juice or protein shake from the juice bar.
Gym owner and faculty is very friendly and has everything you need for your fitness. Also if you are a Powerlifter, this is definitely a perfect place for you. The price for the membership is also excellent.
Best gym in Philly hands down! Plenty of equipment, very nice staff, and definitely an environment that is welcoming, positive, and all things fitness! You can even pick up healthy eats on site. Definitely highly recommended.
Love this gym. Quality variety of equipment, excellent customer service, delicious smoothies & juice bar, and best of all, amazing environment; I look forward to working out everyday.
