Kobe Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar

I feel bad for the 2 star due to the fact the food was great and the chef very entertaining. The service was horrible. . We had to ask for our soup and salad as the main meal was being served as our waitress had never brought either. My husband and I ordered mixed drinks and were repeatedly brought beer that we had to send back.My husband and I ordered shrimp tempura and the couple next to us ordered sushi which we asked about multiple times and finally had to cancel. We spoke with the female owner twice once Midway through the meal asking about the missing appetizers to which we were told these things take time and at the end of the meal about the very poor service and the reply was "yeah yeah yeah do you want to leave a tip?". Like I said before the food was excellent and the chef was very entertaining however the server and the management were severely lacking will drive the extra 15 minutes to Winchester.

Excellent food. You get two meals for the price of one on top of the fact that you get a show. Price is high for the area but cheap/competitive anywhere else in the nation. I paid for one meal, hibachi steak, got a show and took home a whole other meal for $25. My to-go box was stuffed with food as was I.

Went to dinner tonight at Kobe in Martinsburg. Food was great! Ordered sushi and hibachi. Got a California roll with our sushi that we didn’t order( we ordered like 4 other rolls) thought it was an extra or whatever. Well it was on our bill, asked the manager about it and she said because I didn’t return it off my plate with the other sushi I had to pay for it. Also got a sushi roll for Soph that came out with spicy sauce on top when it wasn’t supposed to, asked for them to remake it so she could eat it and had to pay for both of those too! The manager said there wasn’t anything she could do. Terrible service from waitress I asked for a coke refill and never got it! The place wasn’t even busy. I’ll take my $150 dollar dinner elsewhere 😡😡😡

Very kind and polite people very understanding and we had a wonderful birthday and anniversary celebration there good food and good people
