Got our chuppah for our wedding from Kolbo- went with the classic wooden polls with the many colored tallis- it was lovely! They were very clear with directions and pick-up and drop-off, and super professional. Would certainly recommend!
Top notch customer service. They were wonderful helping to ensure I received my last minute order of kippots for my daughter’s wedding. I offered several times to pay expedited shipping and they reassured me that the order would arrive on time- and it did! They were exactly what I ordered, good quality and the imprint was beautiful. I highly recommend this company, you won’t be disappointed.
I am so glad to have had the chance to work with them. There was a special mug from one of the brands they stock I was looking for- and they worked with me to source it. They were so communicative throughout and very easy to work with. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for their help and how much I would recommend to purchase from them!
Excellent shop. Lots of local artwork.
Wonderful selection of Judaica. Beautiful. Very helpful staff.
This is one of our favorite Judaica gift shops! They have a wide assortment of items and added to that, a genuinely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend Kolbo!
This is the place for Judaica in the greater Boston area. You can come here if you need a gift or something for yourself and know you'll find anything you need for any occasion or celebration. The staff are lovely and knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. Happy they're nearby and we don't have to shop online.
The Ketubah we received is not squarely mounted on the blue background and the exterior edge is not cut straight as shown in the picture. My husband reached out regarding our concerns - we were told to purchase a matte that would cover the blue edge of the Ketubah and told that the imperfections we referenced are part of the design and should be expected. To say that we are disappointed is an understatement. For the price paid, one would expect that such basic asks ie straight exterior edge, square mounting would be met, and, unfortunately, these defects really detract from the beautiful design of the interior of the Ketubah. Perhaps more disappointing, however, was the response that we received when we did reach out and an overall unwillingness to assist us further. [Update – re: company’s response below ] - my husband and I stand by our criticism of the quality of the product and feeling frustrated by the response we received when we reached out to voice our concerns. There were extenuating circumstances that were explained in the correspondence that caused the defects to not be notice until recently. The proposed “solution” changes the overall aesthetic of the Ketubah and this point seems to be entirely missed by the company and will NOT achieve the “desired outcome.” Dismissing our concerns about quality due to "imperfections" attributable to the handmade nature of artwork and timeliness of the complaint seems like an easy way to absolve the company of any accountability. We accept any imperfections in the artwork but do not accept having something not squarely mounted or cut with a straight exterior edge. Asking us to work with a custom framer and spend an additional several hundreds of dollars to try to salvage our Ketubah is outlandish. .
Very friendly place, good selection. They did not have one item that we were looking for. Rather then trying to upsell us, they sent us to another store next door. Very honest people.
Everything we have purchased has been absolutely beautiful and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We have bought items for ourselves and our kids and gifts for friends and each item is truly special: Ketubahs, seder plate, challah plate, kiddish cups, books, artwork, jewelry, ceramics for holidays, cards, a menorah, candlesticks--and each item is so special.
