It’s always a delight to stop in, but today a Top Drawer staff member at Brookline went above and beyond to make my day. I was seeking a bag I should have bought back in the day and have been coveting ever since. Called the shop, and the rep there helped me locate one in a Chicago store. The Chicago location had one the last one in stock across the company! and shipped it out to me immediately. Can’t thank the awesome team members enough. This is why Top Drawer is one of my go-to places for awesome goods and customer care:
Bought a $99 lighter here at the beginning of December. It stopped working after less than two months. Replaced the flint and refilled. Customer service couldn’t have been less helpful. No exchange. No repair. No help. There’s a $99 lesson I’ve learned.
Staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable! I found this place because I’m a pencil nerd and I particularly like B and 2B pencils, which aren’t the standard in the states, but are in most other places. They had a variety of quality pencils in an assortment of degrees. I also really like that they had paper for trying them out and could be purchased individually there are few things I dislike more than buying a pack of ten pencils and then finding out I hate them. These are the three that I purchased. The Stabilo Othello is my favorite out of these, but I really like them all! I will definitely be back for more. Pencil caps were made by me. I didn’t see any pencil caps in the store, but perhaps they might sell them in the future?
It's a fun shop with a great selection of pens, pencils, markers, paper, etc. I go in to get erasable pens for work which I love. They also have a big selection of indoor slippers and sleek minimalist backpacks and bags. Keep in mind, the bigger items like bags are quite expensive, so I would call many of the brands "luxury" brands, but you can still get away with buying a few pens or pencils for under $10. We've been in and found some of the sales people intolerably pushy and talkative, but other times they are great. I guess it depends on who you get! Overall though, it's worth a visit!
Lovely staff, helped me find an excellent gift!
Payton and JB were so helpful and kind. Knowledgeable about all of the pens and writing supplies. They were super patient with me and helped me find the perfect pen!
Love it! A beautifully designed speciality shop for pens and lifestyle items. A great place for specialty Japanese pens. Great selection of tombow, frixtion pens and pilot pens. Prices on par with what I’ve seen online for pens.
Ordered slippers online as a gift and never received them. Contacted customer service 3 times and no response! Extremely disappointed in how this company treats their online customers.
I have no good things to say about this place or how it is run. Cheap, low-quality products at high mark-ups. The staff are rude and condescending. Meanwhile their website is a joke... I thought it was a scam site at first. WIll not be returning.
Great shop for pens and related items. I especially like that they sell refill pens and very good quality!
