Kowaliga Restaurant

Every time I go to Lake Martin, I usually eat here for lunch or dinner. First off, the food never fails to amaze me, for it just tastes so good. Secondly, the views of the lake are beautiful! Great restaurant! I highly recommend this!

Love visiting this place. Beautiful Lake Martin, cool Kowaliga and Hank Williams stuff, great service and good food. I had The Cheesburger and it was great! I like how the fries are cooked and the tea is mighty fine.

A beautiful restaurant on Lake Martin. Staff excellent, food great. Outdoor seating on the lake. Great memorabilia of Hank Williams. Would definitely go again.

This is a nice restaurant on the lake that is accessible by car our boat. Beautiful facility. Extraordinary food at fair prices. Very welcoming staff. Go any time of the day or until 8PM but sunsets there are really spectacular.

Great food and views, but not ran very well. When we arrived the hostess did everything she could to talk us out of eating there. We were told it would be an hour to and hour and a half wait for 2 people and even after we were seated it would take 45 minutes to an hour before our food would come out. This seemed strange and we decided to stay, 15 minutes later we were seated. Then we noticed, while there were dozens waiting, half the tables in the restaurant were empty...I don't know if they just don't have the staff to handle their table capacity or if they just want to make people wait, but either way can't give them 4 or 5 stars because of this. Once we ordered it took less than 15 minutes for our entrees to come out, not the 45 minutes to an hour we were quoted. When we left they still had dozens of people waiting and half the tables in the place empty...maybe they are just trying to sustain the flow but it turns a lot of people away... management must think of you are not willing to wait 2-3 hours to eat there they don't want your business. Food and service was good at the table, but overpriced for their entrees, sandwiches are priced ok, but changing fries to a salad is a $3 upcharge, not impressed by that at all.
