Krekel's West

Got a banana split, this time there was actually banana involved but little to no toppings. It was mostly melted by the time I drove home and I live 2 blocks away. The boy at the window wouldn't even look at me to hand me my change back let alone respond when I said thank you. What the hell? The atmosphere is great considering I took it home.

This location seems to be a bit more expensive than the other locations but the Triple Cheese Burgers and Fries are a treat to reward yourself. OMG.... Best Burgers in town. Fresh! Juicy! Perfect Temperature! Definitely worth going back. Great staff and management. Plenty of seating and a nice environment to sit down and enjoy a meal.

Love the burgers, fries and lemon cones. It is clean and provides an option for indoor as well as outdoor dining. I returned to explain that a phone was lost and it shows up on "Find my phone" at Krekel's. Staff members had not found it, checked the table where we sat. I left a message with the cashier, in case it is found. Concerned that it is STILL showing that it is at Krekel's after I returned home.

Waited in the drive-thru line for 15 minutes just to get told they were closed. On google, it says they are open until 10 pm updated 4 weeks ago. A fairly recent update to their business hours, so not sure why it is an hour off.Service: 1/5

Ordered through Doordash. 1 double cheeseburger,1 single and 2 shakes $35 outrageous. I couldn't even eat my single cheeseburger. Tomatoes and lettuce was extra and tasted like Frozen then thawed. Hamburger was as thin as the lettuce!

Krekel's has one of the best smashburgers that I have ever had. I have never had anything but amazing food and service from the Decatur location. The flavor the burger is so good that I get my plain with no cheese or condiments. They use a great seasoning mixture and cook it to perfection with the edges being crispy and it still stays juicy. I highly recommend pairing it with one of the custard malts and you have the perfect indulgence meal. The staff is always so upbeat and polite. It is one of my favorite hamburger spots of all time.

Oh, Krekel's, it's been too long!!! The best burgers in the world!!! And the fries!!! The corn dog was great, too. The prices are very reasonable. I love Krekel's!!!Food: 5/5

So people rave about this place. The burgers are so thin. The fish sandwich was greasy. As were the fries. Place was a mess tables dirty. Servers yelled orders. Customers in line were rude. I won’t go back to this place Handicap acessable. Tables have movable chairs. Kids running around people yelling.Food: 3/5
