We came in for lunch and were seated and served quickly. I got a tasty burger and my wife got a gluten-free option with her salad. Both were good, inexpensive <$10 each, and served quickly. Definitely recommended as a lunch place in a really neat part of Decatur! Dietary restrictions: My wife has celiac disease and there were gluten-free salad options.
It's pretty standard pub food in a modern American setting. The main draw seems to be the outdoor seating options. It was pretty busy when I arrived for lunch and the small bar was already full, so , even though there wasn't much of a wait, I decided to go with takeout. The Reuben was standard. It was fine, but not remarkable. The chips were about the same. Certainly worth the price, but not much more than that.
December 30, 2023 - We went to Coney McKane’s about 6:45 tonight for pie and coffee. The pie was delicious and our server, Tagg, was fantastic. My wife had peanut butter chocolate pie. I had lemon. Each was fresh and tasted great. We ordered a red velvet cupcake to take home for tomorrow. Our server, Tagg, was friendly and quite engaging. He welcomed us and immediately brought coffee when he found out we only came for dessert. To our surprise, he brought us a sample of garlic bread the chef was trying out. It was warm, buttery and flavorful. He was attentive to our needs the entire visit. I highly recommend Coney McKane’s.
The service was very good. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. We ordered burgers, and they were fine. The only glitch was the gluten-free layer cake that I ordered. It was not made in-house and had been sitting around for a while. The cake itself was dry to the touch! I didn't eat it, and it was taken off of our bill. Other than that, all was well. It's not a chain restaurant, so it's nice to support their business.
Great lunch place in downtown Decatur. Sandwiches and soups were all good. Pie selection is out of this world. Servers were friendly and efficient.Food: 5/5
Great place to meet friends. Lots of choices. I'm a huge fan of the chicken salad and chilli. The salads are also delicious and I love that they offer two sizes. The medium is always enough for me. The pies are heavenly don't skip dessert.Food: 5/5
Everything was Absolutely Amazingly Delicious. The strawberry pie and the crust! Lord have mercy. Homemade and incredible. I ordered the salmon with Cesar. Delicious. Order the southwest Eggrolls. One of our favorites in town. We will always return.
We decided to try Coney McKane’s on our last night in town. Really wanted to try breakfast there but never made it. Dinner was really good. We had a short wait, as this is a very popular spot. In short, it was worth the wait! Staff was super friendly and efficient, food was delicious and offered interesting new interpretations on old classics. Kim loved the asparagus soup as well. We had a French dip that was, in my opinion, more of a pot roast sandwich. Very, very good. Jake tried the meatloaf special, which he absolutely loved and ate the leftovers the next day! We also got the Buff-ickory chicken sandwich. It was really good. Sliced chicken that had an almost blackened seasoning, then treated with a little Buffalo and bbq sauces. Their fries were really good too! This place is well known for their sweets and desserts but we were all so stuffed we had to skip it. All in all, a great local place, with friendly vibe and great food. Definitely on our list to go back to!

So he got one here. He liked it Bathroom is small your kinda sitting on top of the other tables Very crowded Server was an older man who has great knowledge of the menu and doesn’t bother you too much Parking: You park on the street. There are a lot of spots. But you may have to walk to the resturant depends where you park. Handicap spots in front
