Kroger

Recent upgrade of store takes a little getting use to. I rate the pharmacy team as the best. I travel a lot and this team has never failed to transfer scrips when ever needed. Great service, thanks Kroger.

No human registers open on a $277 trip. I couldn't believe that during stores hours that zero registers were open. I only go to Krogers for two reasons. 1. They have better health and international food options. 2. They used to employ enough people to not only run a register but a 2nd person bagging your groceries. I am not employed by Krogers so I should not be bagging my groceries and checking myself out on the nightmare self check out. Only reason I'm not one starring this store is because an employee named David did his job very well and helped us through the dreaded checking out with produce on self check out. He is the only reason we didn't walk out and leave $277 laying there in the shopping cart. My point Krogers is that you need more good and great workers checking you out up front UNTIL THE STORE CLOSES and someone trained correctly to bag groceries. Otherwise you are just Wal-Mart (or worse than) but more expensive. Sounds like a bad business plan does it not? The only reason we seek out Krogers to spend our money instead of Wal-Mart is quality of food, quality of service, and quality/quantity of employees to run the store. You don't have much reasons left to justify spending a higher price at Krogers for Wal-Mart like (or worse) service. If I were Krogers, I would abandon this no employee automated vision. You don't realize that your well staffed full service past way business is your only hook. Otherwise if Walmart ever puts a focus on good health food options then I have no reason to shop Krogers. I would actually like a reason to shop your store. Please staff your store until close to provide the kind of service Krogers used to provide. Otherwise I'll see you joining Toys R Us, Sears, Macys, etc.

The Kanawha City store is well stocked with a great variety of products that I use and offers good value. It's so popular that there's always a crowd though. Go early in the day to avoid congestion inside and out!

I like this Kroger because the people are always really nice. We had a very sweet cashier, who's name was Katherine and another nice girl helping her. I hope Krogers will continue to hire these kind of employees.

This is the worst store I've ever been to in my life... always no where to park and store is filthy and disgusting
