Probably the worst Kung Fu Tea location in the city that I've visited. First off, the bubble tea itself — it seems that many of the toppings beyond the tapioca pearls are quite stale. I've tried the nata jelly, aloe, oolohng tea jelly, etc. and the flavor was quite off, as if the toppings had gone bad. The tea itself is alright — probably the classic milk tea would be the only drink I would feel comfortable ordering here. The service has been quite poor during most of my visits — significantly worse than what I've encountered from other KFT locations. The location is very cramped, with hardly enough space for any more than a couple customers. Needless to say, there is no room for one to stay inside the store for any length of time. I've also ordered from the app several times for pickup, only to find that the location is actually closed and they neglected to update their hours. Getting a refund back on the order is also a huge inconvenience, requiring multiple emails with support that are often not responded to in any timely manner. I would strongly suggest visiting any of the many other bubble tea shops nearby instead.
Really bad service today. I've been here once before and it was fine. Today the boba was stuck together in big clumps, and SO chewy that it was unpleasant to even try drinking the tea. But it got worse when we walked back to the store, told them about the problem, and the solution they proposed was that they'll drain out the current boba from our tea and put in new bubbles. And when we hesitated at the strange proposition, they gave us bubbles in a *coffee cup*, to add to our drink ourselves. The picture is attached! The "new boba" turned out to be just as chewy and clumpy. Wasted ample time and money. We had to juggle two different cups while mixing our boba and the tea. We all ended up having to throw out the drinks. I'd brought friends and none of us are going back.
They have so many choices at this little hole in the wall. You can choose your sweetness level and they have non-dairy options! I really enjoyed the taste of my chai milk. My friend got the Oreo milk with bubbles. It was his first experience with bubble tea and he couldn't put it down!
Their bubble tea is pretty solid. Bubbles are yummy. I think the tea could be brewed much stronger and it would be much better. You can also choose your sweetness level. Here is a pic because they have weird hours around the holidays.
Omg, I think one of the best bubble tea spots I've tried so far!! I am drinking coconut milk tea with tapioca and 50% sugar. These tapioca are sweeter than some other places I've been. I might have even gone to a lower % of sugar just for comparison. I don't like anything too sweet. 50% is pretty good but next time I want to try lower to see which I prefer. Either way.. I love this one here!!
Best bubble tea in NYC & people very nice and politeness the tea is fresh and the pearls taste good I come every day pudding milk tea oreo wow best .
The drinks are good and very customizable, with plenty of flavors. you can choose: Amount of ice you want eg 50% more or less How sweet you want it eg 50% more or less sugar Toppings eg tapoica, lychee jelly The lady that was working when i ordered was very nice too. Good customer service
This is a milk tea shop near nyu, their service is the best, the milk tea is very good! I recommend everyone to drink Taro milk tea
Like any other kung fu tea place, they have the same menu prices. Small place with window seating. Staff are nice and the wait isn't too long or bad. On the day I went, it was crowded with a line outside the door but it wasn't too bad of a wait.
The Kung Fu Tea spot is located in Soho. Their milk bubble teas are really sweet but tasty. I brought the Taro milk tea, Honey milk tea and coconut milk tea. They were all very sweet teas. This does keep up with COVID regulations. You order outdoor. If you write a good review on Yelp you get a cute free pen. Their customer service is also good. The drink prices are average from $4-$7 per cup of tea.
