Stumbled upon this place in the evening and had a couple glasses of delicious red wine. They are friendly and knowledgeable about wine and it’s a very small cozy place which I heard can get pretty crowded. Good for a date or intimate drink. Would love to try it in the morning too sometime for coffee/pastries.
I’m a fan!!! Great coffee oat milk steamed correctly and coffee wasn’t burnt, delicious pastry, and mouthwatering sandwiches. On top of that, service was top notch: I only wish I would’ve found this place sooner.
Soft eggs in a nice baguette and a solid croissant in a relatively tight space. It's a great to-go place for pastries & coffee.
Pierre is a fantastic host. I came here on my first day in NYC and came in just as the shop opened. While I sat and had what has undeniably been the best coffee and breakfast I've had in NYC and any bakery anywhere, I also watched as various people in the neighborhood came in and out. Pierre greeted them all by name and each of them always had time for a conversation with each of them. It's a friendly, neighborly, place. I do recommend.
Yummmmm our favorite little gem in the neighborhood for fresh pastry and good coffee.Takeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
Not sure about the lunch and dinner, but the breakfast was HORRIBLE for the price - $9.50 for a stale over sugary croissant and such a bland cappuccino. Not impressed. Would pay $4 total.
I live around the corner from this place and it has amazing coffee especially the matcha latte. Literally maybe the best I've ever had. However, the reason I'm giving it 1 star is the absolutely mute service. I have been here now upwards of 5 times and each time I expect it to get better but it hasn't. This place is owned by a celebrity and apparently must be staffed by groupies or people who think they are extremely important. I say this because each time I have gone to Lena and ordered and paid I have gotten, quite literally, 0 words spoken to me. I think a couple times I actually got an "ok" after I ordered. I usually greet the person usually a man behind the counter and say thank you, etc. and I get just stoneface silence. I even said thank you twice one time because I felt uncomfortable and still he just stared at me. As an observer, it would be comical. As a customer, it's pretty rude. I realized that this is due to some ~status~ thing because one of the times I was in there the usually mute staff were extremely talkative with some film director and name-dropping all over the place. The drinks are good but honestly, skip this place. You'd get better service at Pain Quotidien next door.
Cute little French coffee shop with a few seats, breakfast sandwiches, and friendly service. Beats the Le Pain Quotidien next door.
LĒNA Coffee Bar is more than delicious daily coffee and croissant for me, it's also the perfect place for a date or catching up with an old friend. I'm so glad they have outdoor seating right now! The French pizzettes are the perfect portion to split for a light dinner. The wine selection is fantastic. When I'm here, the world can wait.
Just got the breakfast combo and I’m writing this while I’m eating. This burrata sandwich is delicious!!! I think I just found my coffee place for Saturdays! And the guy behind the counter had a really nice vibe too! And a good playlist!
