I got two drinks here and while the drinks themselves were good and tasty, I feel the service guy could have been a bit more cheerful and friendly. He wasn't "unfriendly" but then again, he wasn't "friendly" either. There were two small chairs next to the register and all three of crammed into that section of the store. It was also a bit dark inside. I think if we just went by with the drink quality and did a carry-out, I would rate this place higher.
THE WORST! Service guy said he didn’t even work there but would take the money. He was both dirty and rude. The 2 drinks were overpriced. You can get the same for less a block up 1st Avenue. The last time I was there was about a month ago. Tina, complains constantly to strangers about her employees; her customers; the people who sit on the bench outside and there was some strange looking guy who acted as her body guard. I vowed that time was the last for me. IF YOU LIKE DRAMA AND GOSSIP, then this is the place for you. If you want good bubble tea and good service, go one block up.
I've been here 3 times and order the Kung Fu milk tea and bought a Green Tea Energy drink. Tina who is the employee I've seen a few times already has a lot of energy and charisma whenever she delivers her customer service skills upon me being that I'm a Postal worker. I love her service and will continue to go there whenever I'm in the area......Tina really admires my energy and charisma in return.
I went there yesterday and I have to say it was a very bad experience. This FUNG FU TEA hasn’t paid rent in months and when Tina isn’t on the phone bragging about it, she is complaint to customers about her personal life. No one wants to hear that. Tina believes almost everyone who walks in there is an undercover from the corporate office there to check up on her. Truth is, you can contact them by email only and they never respond. The drinks are sugar water. Service slow and the place looks more like a storage shed than a store.
I have always liked other Kung Fu teas but this one was a little disappointing. They had run out of boba and some of the flavors I guess it was later in the day but it's quite sad to go to a boba tea place and not find boba. The store was also in a little bit of a disarray.Food: 5/5
the ladies who own this place are the sweetest, always take extra care in their service and your tea. 100% my favorite boba spot in the neighborhood!!
the drinks r kinda weird and expensive at this location i got oreo wow and it was 7.62 but at other locations it was 5.70?? also it was missing the syrup so it was just milk with crushed oreos and bubbles . kung fu tea is great just not this location
TINA, is a big gossip and she bragged about not paying rent for several months. She said she knows the landlord won’t take her to court and wanted me to sign a petition. She is crazy. As someone who has a business and pays rent-I find it unbelievable that she would brag about that. TINA, complains about everything and I am tired of paying $10 for sugar water and listening to her problems. Terrible place. Dark and dirty.
The tea had plastic in it and when I showed it to the guy working behind the counter, he said he didn’t work there and to make a 311 complaint. This place is badly managed. They are charging different prices to different customers and when you have people behind the counter who are taking in cash but say they don’t work there-they call that fraud.
I've been here twice, the first time the taro milk tea was okay, the second time I got taro slush and it was mostly slush with not much taro. I would not get the taro slush from here again.
